Ch 1: "Introduction"

"Please Your highness spare me" said the servant who was kneeling said shaking seemingly afraid of the man in front of him. "You should know that im not that kind of person who gives people a second chance" The 'King' stated

The infamous king's name is Kim namjoon the only child of Kim Sungwoon the former king to whom died because of cancer. After his father's death he fought his greedy relatives and was proclaimed King when the fight finished.

"I am the king so give me a reason why should i care for a traitor like you" I said with a cold and haughty tone belittling the servant."I know your enemies secret" said the servant who suddenly have a surge of courage and dared to look to the king in the eyes.

Noticing this Namjoon who is sitting at the throne walked up to the kneeling man "You have one big of a courage young man, you would've gotten big if it wasn't for you betraying me" saying that the king signalled his guards to pull the man out and be thrown into prison

Finishing his work Namjoon went back to his study only to see his bestfriend/Butler Yoongi standing there holding a stack of papers which contains all important documents that needed to be signed by him. knowing this the king unknowingly massaged his temples and walked to his table.

"Your finally back, all the paperwork have been pilling up since you left" Yoongi said accompanied by the sound of a stack paper dropping to the table.

"That fast?" Namjoon asked skimming through all the documents looking uninterested until he saw one file. "Hiring main chef?" he said looking confusedly to his butler

"The traitor was the main chef, wait you didn't know?" Yoongi look at his friend with disbelief 'so he just killed a guy not knowing anything about him?' he thought still not believing his friends dumbness

"I never cared, but back to the topic have you already found somebody suitable?" Namjoon asked as he started to signing the papers

"We havent yet but here are the candidates" Tge butler then pass a series of documents and picture containing the said people.

Putting down the document in his hand the king looked at the resumes but none of them caught his eyes until he saw the last person.

"This person, I want this person the earlier the better" after he said that he sent away his butler and started to look more into the file though it only covered the person's life this in 2 years.

namjoon felt more attracted to the person the more he read it and felt that knowing only 2 years on that person's life wasn't enough so he took out his phone and called a number

"Hey can you check this person's background, what you can only get his teenage years that's gone too send that to me later" eventhough he was frustrated by the lack of info he will be given he still accepted it since it will still be something about that person

"Kim Seokjin" Namjoon said darkly his voice coated with possessiveness as he read out the person's name "You will be mine" he said returning back to his room

In the morning The king immediately opened up his computer and check his email for the background check he asked to his friend

But to his disappointment not only did the file didn't have enough info, it only contains what happened in jin's life in his 20 to his current age 24 which gives namjoon a blank slate of what his childhood was.

Still devastated namjoon went downstairs and continued on his daily lifestyle.

In another place. "Mom, I'm going to work now bye. I'll miss you" Jin said waving goodbye to his mother and brother, as he started in his journey to go to the palace to be a chef and was thankful to his boss for it

His old boss Jung hoseok was the one who sent the resume to the palace, though shocked jin was still grateful for it since he really needed the money for his mother's hospital Bill's because of her disease cancer.
