“What!, are you not going to ask me about the…”

“Rape case?” the man took the words from Alex's mouth.

“Are you expending me to believe that nonsense? I know that you are dating Lincoln’s daughter even after you get married, who doesn’t know that?”

Alex lowers his head feeling kind of ashamed, he never thought he will be standing in front of the old men and talking about his affairs with women.

“I’m sorry” he bows again.

“What you do with your life is not my business, but your father will be so disappointed, he promised me that his son will put an end to Lincoln and his men, we have been waiting patiently for that day.

But I think that day will never come” the concluded with a disappointing tone in his voice.

“Why is it taking you so long to bring Lincoln down?” Vampire asks Alex.

He has no excuse rather than the fact that he can’t kill Lincoln because of Evelyn, he’s looking for another way to handle him.

Evelyn has begged him on many occasions not to hurt her father. But up till now, Alex didn’t take her threats seriously, in his mind, Evelyn won’t hurt him, she’s just bluffing.

But now, he thinks that she’s not playing at all.

“I’m sorry for disappointing you, but I must say that I have a plan, I need to take back all my father's property before I can even think of killing him.

They let him go, but they keep discussing him.

“We need to keep him in the dark” Vampire said.

Have you made him sign the documents?” the spiritual head asked Vampire.

“Not yet, I don’t want to rush him”

“You better do it before he finds out”

“Alex went straight to Evelyn's house to confront her.”

“I thought you love me, why do you want to destroy me?”

Evelyn didn’t know what he was talking about.

“Don’t pretend you don’t know what I’m saying”

“That is because I don’t know what you are saying” Evelyn, said standing up from the sofa to walk toward him.

Don’t joke with me, I’m just coming back from the council, if you have to bring me to the council you should at least be there to kill me once and if all.”

“What are talking about? I can never kill you” she hurried to him and attempt to check on him but he pushed her away.

“Your father was before the council today with that stupid report of yours saying that I raped you”

Evelyn wanted to laugh, but that is not funny.

“You think is funny right? Huh?” Alex asked with a cold dark face.

“I’m sorry, but I wasn’t the one who gave it to him, I don’t know how he got it”

“Is that the truth”

“Yes”

“Then tomorrow, the council will call you, tell them is not true,”

“Hey… not so fast, what do I get?”

“Name it, any amount, and I will give it to you now” he brought out his phone ready to make the transfer.
