“You are not serious Brian” pat ran after him “Tell me you’re not serious, the same Sandra you and I know who sells fish in the market with her mother; of course not, it can't be true.

Alex cannot stoop so low as dating Sandra, there must be a mixed up right?.” She ask Brian.

“No, is the truth, look, I know you are disappointed but it's the truth, Alex love her there’s nothing you can do about that.”

“No, Alex cannot reject me just like that and for what?, to end up with Sandra?, a fish seller!” hahaha you’re not serious I need to see Sandra.”

“What for?” Brian ask but pat is already on her way out of the house to go and look for Sandra.

“Don’t worry Brian, this is between me and Sandra.”

She saw Sandra walking back from the market she wants to go and prepare food for her mum before she close from the market.

“Hey Sandra..” pat called.

“Hey Pat, long time” she ask smiling but pat wasn’t smiling.

“You sneaky bitch, why didn't you tell me that you're dating Alex, you made it look as if you don’t like him, but you were thinking of how to get to him all this while.”

“What are you talking about?” Sandra ask surprised at pat coming out on her like that. She hasn’t seen pat since then after that party, so she was at lost of what is going on with her.

 “Shut up you little bitch, you know what I'm talking about, so you are dating Alex, are you happy now.?”

“Can you please calm down and tell me what this is all about?”

“Don't pretend not to know what I'm talking about, because I told you that day; there are so many girls fighting because of Alex and to tell you the truth I am one of them. but for you to just come from nowhere and you're dating Alex comfortably, it pissed me off”

“Oh… I’m so sorry about that, but is not what you think, you see I and Alex, we…we…. are not really dating”

“What!, But Brian told me Alex loves you and that there is nothing I can do about it, so why are you not dating him?, Is there are problem between you two?” pat ask making Sandra confused.

“I…I…”

“Don’t say anything, don’t say anything think, I understand if Alex loves you even though you are selling fish in the local market, you can still date him ok, so for my sake please keep dating Alex and I will defend you if they try to bully you ok”

Sandra was looking at pat as if she was watching a movie. What does she mean by defending her? And who is going to bully her?” but she just nod her head as pat keeps talking and talking promising to be her best friend and helping her if anything wants to fight her for dating Alex.

“But why will anyone wants to fight because of a guy?” Sandra ask pat as they walk to Sandra’s house.
