Chapter 26:- An attempt to know each other.

I asked him what kind of song he listens to and sings. His choice of songs are similar to mine.

I asked him, "Who is your favourite singer in the language you listen to?"

He answered me that, "Arijit Singh for Hindi songs, Diljit Dosanjh for Punjabi songs, Kirtidan Gadhavi for Gujarati songs, Sid Sriram for South Indian languages, Selena Gomez and Ed Sheeran for English songs and I love the music directed by A R Rehaman, Sachin- Jigar, Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, are my favourite."

I tell him that " You know they all are my favourite and I listen to all of them. Arijit is my favourite singer he can sings all kinds of songs like Indian classical, Romantic, Sad, Dance song, even he had sing a song in Gujrati also,In Punjabi I love Diljit Dosanjh and Babbal Rai, In Gujrati Singer I love Kirtidan and Rajbha Gadhavi, In South Indian songs I also love Sid Sriram, In English songs singer I love Salena Gomez. I love the music of A.R. Rehman and Sachin Jigar, Shankar - Ehsaan - Loy.So our favourite singer and musicians list is quite similar."

Then I asked him, " Where are we going now?"

He says "It's 4:00 p.m now let's drink tea together"

I smiled and said " I think you forgot that we're meeting because your treat is pending and you've to take that from me"

He looked at me and said, " My memory is sharp and I don't forget things that much easily. I will take treats from you and who told you that I will drop you back when we finish the tea?"

I look at him and say "Okay. Then tell me where you want to take the treat from me. One thing is that I don't like tea. I love coffee."

He smiles. He looks cute when he smiles.

He says " We will be together till 9:30p.m. and I will drop you off before your campus gets closed.First I will drink tea and as you said you like coffee so we will go to Cafe there we will split the bill. For dinner we will go to the restorant and there you will give me the treat."

I told him that " Okay, but today's treat is from me so there's no need to split the bill at the cafe."

He says, " let's see. Tell me which cafe you want to go to?"

I told him that I didn't have any experience at a cafe in Baroda because I usually go to eat in the restaurant or pizza center. So you can take me where you love to go."

He says " Okay , I'll take you to one cafe. I love the tea from that cafe and I'm sure coffee from there will be good. I think you would like that."

I say " I will tell you that how is the test of the coffee today so you will have an idea about the test of coffee when you go next time with someone to that cafe."

Our journey continues with the talks and after an hour we reached the cafe.

We went inside the cafe and he asked me "Do you like to eat anything with coffee?" and I said "No, I will drink coffee only."

We had similar choices in music but we're different in this way. He loves tea and I love coffee.

We took our seats and he gave his order for tea and looked at me and I said one cold coffee for me.

After giving the order he asked me " I love tea and it's my tea time. I drink tea two times a day, one in the morning and another one in the evening. If someone offers me more than two times a day or if there is any situation like that and someone offers me tea then also I drink tea. It's like I'm addicted to drinking tea. So I don't like to miss my evening tea.What about you? Don't you like tea?"

I said to him that" I usually don't drink anything in the evening and I love coffee but that doesn't mean I hate tea. The real thing is that I didn't drink tea so I don't drink it."

He says with a cute expression on his face that, " Ohh, that means you love coffee because you didn't drink tea. I think you must test tea once in life and you will forget to drink coffee. If you want to change your order I can tell him before anyone can come with our order."

I say to him " No, no need to change the order. Today I will drink cold coffee. I will test tea next time when we will meet. We will go to your favourite tea spot and that tea will be your treat. Okay?"

He says, " Okay, I'll take you my favourite tea spot and that will be my treat."

After listening to this I tell him that, " So next treat is from you so let me pay the bill for this treat of coffee and tea."

When I was saying this our order arrived and the waiter put that on the table and then left.

He says " You're stubborn and I think you know how to make someone agree with you easily. So for today It's Okay as you wish this treat is by you."

I feel like he started knowing me like a friend.

So I tell him that " To be honest I'm stubborn a little bit but not every time. To make people agree with me is the magic of my words and they get to agree with me easily."

I like the way he is straight forward telling me about what he thinks about me.

We started drinking our drinks.

I feel like at some point we both are a little stubborn and still find a way for a solution.
