Chapter 4

I woke up at the sound of my alarm, I checked the time and realized that it was 6:00am. I still had a lot of time to get ready for school. I grabbed my phone to tell Phoebe to meet me at the coffee shop across the school.

And I also reminded her that she's coming to help me get ready for my dinner with Tony. I went and took a shower, I wore my daily outfit a skinny jeans and a black long sleeve shirt. I tied my hair in a ponytail and went downstairs to have breakfast.

I met Mia downstairs already eating breakfast and I sat at the table and poured myself a bowl of cereal" morning sis" I greeted. She grinned at me and started rambling about the party tomorrow night. We finished our breakfast and headed to school.

As we arrived at school, I waved Mia goodbye and headed towards the coffee shop. I entered the coffee shop, I was welcomed with the smell of fresh coffee  and noticed that a few kids from school were here chatting with one another. I checked my wrist watch and realized that we have like half an hour before school starts

I ordered a cup of black coffee which is my favorite and I went to the back of the shop which was quite isolated to prevent attention and patiently in a booth waiting for Phoebe. She texted me saying she's almost here.

As I was sipping my coffee and reading the book for literature class. Phoebe walked into the shop and she waved at me as soon as she saw me.

She ordered her coffee and walked towards me. She arrived at the table and  greeted me." Morning bestie". I glared at her but still relplied to her greeting.             

" Morning P, aw was ur night?". "Fine", she gave me a concerned look and said

"Are u okay?,geez why on Earth I'm I asking you don't look okay, what's wrong?". Before I could speak she said " have u been thinking again?". 

I let out a sign " I've been thinking about what Aiden told me about Tony". She gave me a look to continue" you know how hurt I've been in the past and I don't want to get hurt again". I could feel tears in my eyes, I tried my best not to cry but I ended up crying.

" Cher it's time to let down the walls you've built around urself cause of what happened in the past. It wasn't your fault, please don't cry". Phoebe was also close to tears. I let out a breath and wiped my tears." But Aiden spoke with a hint of sincerity when he told me". I said.

" Forget about Aiden and let loose, he's just a jerk". I smile at Phoebe's enthusiasm. I checked my watch and noticed that we had just five minutes to get to class.

"Let's get to class P". We stood up grabbed our belongings and practically skipped out of the coffee shop which earned us looks from the other students.
