"I can take you to the store I sold it to," Mari told Remy. She gazed at the cup on the screen of his laptop. "If it's still there, that's great. If not, Gary should be able to let us know who the buyer was. He's a good guy, very honest."
Remy closed the computer screen and moved it off the bed. Then he pulled Mari across the small space between them and took her in his arms. "Thank you," he whispered, his gaze locked with hers.
"You're welcome." Her breathing hitched, and she wriggled against the erection that had sprung up as soon as he'd gotten her closer. "Think we can celebrate in advance? It's going to be a while before you can go anywhere."
