The next few days passed quickly and Camilla finally recovered. Alex still rambled on at times, but Camilla didn't insist that he say anything. She would give him his own time to open up about whatever issues he was going through.

The two woke up early, showered together, which caused them to be a few minutes late and the reason was obvious. Alex dropped Camilla off at work. She was seriously considering selling her car, after all, she hardly ever went out alone. Her poor 2012 chevrolet cruise lived in the garage. Thinking of it, Camilla remembered that it was probably still there in the other apartment.

"Good day at work, love." Alex spoke up and gave Camilla a kiss on her lips.

"Thanks. For you too. See you at lunch?" she asked, already with the car's door half opened.

"Yes. I'll come for you."

"Right." She blew him a kiss and left.
