Chapter Four

The next morning Jace wakes up Stacey.

"Fine..i'm up."

Jace sighs and eats breakfast. Stacey got dressed as she quickly gets her bag. She finally got downstairs.

"Where's Mom?" She ask heading out the door.

Jace follows as he grab his bag, "She had to go to work early."

Brett was behind them listening.

"Are you sure you want to date guys?" Jace ask.

"JB, girls are just too much work. Plus, we can still compare who has the hottest boyfriend or girlfriend." She explains.

Jace pouts, "It's still not the same."

Brett chuckles quietly to himself. Stacey and Jace got to school on time.

"Jace!" Caden shouts

Jace walks over to him as Stacey mood changes, "A-Alright then.."

Brett was still behind her as he notice her mood changes. Stacey shakes it off and walks to homeroom.

Time flies by and it's third period, Stacey sat down next to Nolan.

"Morning." She said.

Nolan looks at Stacey, "Same to you too. Want to sit with us at lunch?"

"Us?" Stacey tilts her head.

Brett waves at Stacey, "Oh I didn't know that your in this class. She said.

"Ya he's pretty quiet, so?"

Stacey was confused by what he meant but remembered, "Sure why not." She answers as she does her work.

Nolan smiles as Brett listen and does his work.

Jace and Caden was in another class finishing their research paper.

"Great, we did it." Caden smiles.

Jace turns in the paper, "Yep." He said cleaning up."

Caden looks at Jace for a moment  as Jace reads his book. "At your old school, umm..did you have friends?"

Jace stops reading, "A couple, why?"

Caden shrugs, "Just asking."

When lunch came around Stacey goes to Nolan table.

"Stacey what's up?" Cory ask

"Nolan invited me to sit with my guys."

Jax sat down and starts eating, Cory got up and get lunch. Stacey sat down looking at her phone as Brett saw Stacey.

"Oh you came." He said

"Ya, I did. I didn't want to be rude."

Brett nods and takes a bite out of his burger. Stacey goes back to her home.

"Hey guys." Nolan said in a good mood.

Everyone said hi back, Nolan saw Stacey not eating, "Are you going to eat?" Nolan sits down

Stacey turns off her phone, "I'm not really fond of food."

"Why?" Jax ask

"How can you not like food." Cory said shocked.

Before Stacey could answer the school speaker was on, "ladies and gentlemen homecoming tickets are for sale. Come and get them now."
