Back to the country
Several hours later.
Vionna was done cleaning up. It was a really tough work but she did it anyway. From cleaning the whole room to the bathroom, washing the toilet, cleaning the study, to arranging the items and some old files she came across.
It took more than five hours to get all the work done. Mia and the rest of them did tried to persuade her to eat before she continues, but as stubborn as she is, she rejected. Tania and Gwen brought food to her but again she rejected them telling them she will be done soon and she's alright.
They had no choice but to leave her alone till she was done.
At the airport.
"Finally back in China!" Zeke screamed out loud spreading his arms sideways welcoming the sweet breeze of china that he hadn't felt In years.
Liam shook his head at Zeke before walking past him. A car pulled up Infront him coming to a halt. He turned around to see Zeke still standing at the same spot with his hands still wide apart and his eyes closed.
"Hey, Zeke! the driver is here." Liam called out to him.
"Be right the there."
Zeke immediately rushed down to where Liam was waiting for him. They both entered the car with Liam getting in first. The driver immediately hit the brake and zoomed off.
Back at the Liu Mansion
Catherine quickly rushed down the stairs with her phone in her hands.
"Sandra, Mia, Jasmine!" She shouted.
"Yes Madam!" The all echoed when the heard their names being called by the Madam. They rushed out towards the Living room.
"You called us ma'am." Mia the head maid said.
Catherine couldn't contain the smile on her face. She couldn't even speak without a single chuckle. "I need you Guys to get everything ready within fifteen minutes and set all the dishes in the dinner hall immediately. I hope everything was done properly as I instructed."
"Yes ma'am." Mia replied.
"Good, My husband will be back early today and my son will be home too after so many years." Catherine happiness knew no bounds.
They have never seen the Madam look this happy in years.
They were all happy when they heard this. The Young Master will be here soon.
"Congratulations Ma'am." Mia said. They were all smiles.
"Alright, move on go set everything." Catherine said happily.
The three of them followed her instruction as the went directly to the kitchen.
"Oh my God I'm so happy. I hope everything is ready. V.. Vionna, yes Vionna where is she by the way." Catherine said to herself. She shrugged before going back upstairs. As long Everything is clean and tidy she don't care where she is, She just need her to do her job.
Vionna was exhausted, tired and hungry. She couldn't gauge the strength to move a limb. She leaned her back against the wall breathing hard. She had never worked this hard in her entire life. She stared at the once messy mess that she had already turned clean, appreciating her hard work. She mentally gave herself a pat in the back.
She moved herself, Walking tiredly towards the bed. It was too tempting for her especially in her tired state. "Just a minute will do." She said to herself.
Vionna ignored the fact that she was all sweaty and immediately landed on the bed. "Just a minute." She whispered to herself already closing her eyes drowning off to sleep.
And just like that she dozed off.
Jasmine immediately rushed into the maid quarters to spread the news as if she was spreading the gospel. "Guys! guys! guess what?" She said jumping on top Alexa's bunk with excitement.
"What?" Tania and Tomika echoed
"What could make you so happy." Gwen asked.
"Guys the Young Master will be here in less than fifteen minutes." Jasmine said with an excited smile.
Alexa sprang out of the bed immediately she heard what Jasmine said. "Are you serious, oh my God tell me you are not joking."
"Do I look I am? You can ask Mia and Sandra if you don't believe me." Jasmine said.
"That's Good news. Now the Mistress will not have to be edgy always because her son will be around to keep her happy." Tania said laughing a little.
"Yeah I agree with that." Jasmine said.
"That is not my business right now, I'm just so happy." Alexa squealed happily. She felt like she is going to explode with joy.
"Someone is in for a heart break." Gwen mocked making Alexa stare coldly at her.
"It will come as a shock guys. Just wait and see." Alexa said flinging her long black hair to the back stylishly.
"It's been four years since he left this country Alexa, if you didn't get his attention then what made you think you can get it now." Jasmine tried to reason with her.
"She's right." Gwen said while Tania gave a nod.
"You won't get it guys. The is a difference between then and now." Alexa was still proving stubborn.
"She won't listen guys let her learn it the hard way." Tania said, already tired from the argument.
"Whatever." Alexa mused.
Outside the Liu Mansion. A car slowly drove in to the residence and pulled up right Infront of the Mansion. Catherine was already standing outside ready to welcome her youngest son.
The door to the car opened up making Catherine more eager and excited. Two tall and grown men alighted the car. Her smile broaden more after seeing who the other person is.
"Aunty! Mom." They both greeted.
"Come here you both." Catherine stretch out her hands for both of them as she welcomed them in a hug.
She was extremely happy when she heard that Ezekiel will be coming along, she had missed her nephew for ages now. He had been abroad for years before Liam even went to join him. "Have you told your parents that you are back already?" She asked after releasing them from the hug.
"No Aunty I plan to go see them instead." Ezekiel replied grinning.
"A surprise huh? naughty boy." Catherine chuckled turning her attention to Liam. "Oh My, my baby has grown so big already." Catherine said checking Liam out.
Ezekiel laughed at Liam for being addressed as a baby by his age, earning a deathly glare from Liam. He covered his mouth to stop his laugh but his shoulders were still vibrating.
Catherine gave another hug to Liam. "I missed you dear so much. You guys come in your favorite dishes were prepared." She said leading them in While, the chauffeur brought their luggages inside.
