Is It Romantic

She frowned slightly when she saw Zhang Bing standing at the door.

"Hello, Zhang Bing. Is it my turn to film?"

Zhang Bing gently closed the door behind him and awkwardly stood there, twiddling his thumbs behind his back.

Elena stood up and got ready to leave when Zhang Bing suddenly moved forward and said, "It's not your time yet."

Elena tilted her head slightly and asked, "Oh, why are you here then?"

Zhang Bing began tapping his feet on the ground and he looked down. He seemed to be torn between whether he should talk or not.

His mouth opened and closed and Elena stared at him with confusion in her eyes.

Finally, Zhang Bing looked up anxiously and stuttered out an invitation to lunch.

"Do you want to eat lunch with me today?"

Elena raised one eyebrow questioningly and said, "Today?"

Zhang Bing nodded. Seeing that Elena didn't frown upon the idea, his confidence grew.

"Yes. Do you have time? You only have one more scene and I have two more, so you might have to wait for me a bit."

Elena chuckled, "You took that long just to ask me to eat lunch with you?"

Zhang Bing slightly blushed as he nodded. From outside the room, someone called Elena saying that it was her turn to film.

Elena walked over to Zhang Bing and tapped him on the shoulder, "If you ever get a girlfriend, don't be so hesitant and indecisive. Just tell her you want to take her out for lunch, it is much more romantic."

Zhang Bing's cheeks turned even more red as Elena walked out of the room. He turned around and looked at the open door.

'Do you think it's romantic?'

Elena was packing her bag after filming her last scene when she suddenly remembered what Zhang Bing had asked her earlier. Was he being serious?

Elena hooked her bag over her shoulder and said goodbye to Mila. She walked out and saw the crew getting ready to film Zhang Bing's next scene.

Elena walked over to take a look at the filming. Zhang Bing caught sight of Elena and smiled slightly, happy that she was waiting for him.

He immediately focused when the director said they were starting. Zhang Bing wanted to get this scene done in one take. That way, Elena wouldn't have to wait for too long and they could go eat.

Luckily, the director must have also been getting hungry, as he passed the scene even though the female actress partnering with Zhang Bing didn't do extremely well.

Zhang Bing quickly walked over to Elena and said, "Wait for me just a bit. I'm going to go change and get my stuff. I'll be right back."

Elena nodded and watched Zhang Bing run into his changing room. She looked at her phone while waiting for Zhang Bing, and she was kind of disappointed to find that she didn't get any messages from Lu Chenjun.

Just then, Zhang Bing appeared in front of her.

Elena widened her eyes in surprise, "That was really fast."

Zhang Bing smiled and said, "Let's go."

In the car, Zhang Bing drove with only one hand on the steering wheel. His other hand gently brushed his bangs back from his forehead.

This incredibly sexy sight would probably make his fans go crazy, and Elena also couldn't help but feel a little uncomfortable in the presence of such a handsome man.

"Where do you want to go?"

Elena shrugged, "I like everything as long as it's food. You can choose."

"How about a Korean restaurant. I know a really good place nearby for Korean barbecue."

Elena immediately nodded happily, "How do you know I really like Korean barbecue? Let's go there."

Zhang Bing chuckled and made a right turn. Before long, they arrived in front of an extremely tall building with the words, 'Haojiu Korean Barbecue' written at the very top of the building.

Elena got out of the car quickly and stepped onto the sidewalk.

"I haven't eaten Korean barbecue in forever because I don't know any good ones here."

Zhang Bing opened the door and politely let Elena walk in first.

"This place is really good, especially their pork belly."

The smell of barbecue was amazing, and Elena's stomach grumbled at the sight of people cooking and eating the juicy meat.

There was a young man working, and he politely greeted Elena and Zhang Bing.

"Welcome to Haojiu Korean Barbecue, how many people do you have?"

Zhang Bing put up two fingers, and the worker grabbed two menus before leading them over to an open table.

"Are you ready to order?" The worker asked.

Zhang Bing turned over to Elena, "If you trust me, I can order right away."

Elena nodded, "You can order."

"Can we get two servings of pork belly, one serving of beef brisket strips, and one serving of ribeye steak. Thank you."

The waiter nodded and took the menus away. The food was served quickly and everything tasted delicious.

Throughout the entire meal, Zhang Bing cooked the meat and placed the bite-sized pieces of meat onto Elena's plate.

"I can cut the meat, you should eat." Elena offered.

Zhang Bing smiled, "Don't worry, I am also eating. I'm almost done cutting."

Elena picked up a piece of pork belly and placed it into Zhang Bing's plate, "Eat."

They finished all four servings of meat, and Elena probably ate at least three of the servings. During the meal, more than five people came up to their table and asked Zhang Bing for an autograph, which he happily gave.

When they were done, Zhang Bing paid and completely ignored Elena's repeated offer to do so.

As they were walking to the front door, Elena said, "I will treat you to a meal next time. Don't you dare fight with me for the bill."

Zhang Bing laughed and nodded in consent. When they reached the front door, they realized that it was raining.

They stood in front of the door, hiding under the rooftop to avoid getting wet.

"I have an umbrella in my car. I'll go get it."

As Zhang Bing prepared to run into the rain, Elena quickly stopped him.

"Give me the car keys, I can go get it." Elena pointed to a building about three blocks away, "You see that tall apartment building, I live right there. I can walk back."

When they walked out, Elena recognized the flashy, red building across from this restaurant. She looked to her right and realized that this place was really close to her apartment!

Zhang Bing shook his head, "The rain is really big, I'll drive you there."

Elena finally agreed and said, "Okay."

Without waiting any further, Zhang Bing immediately ran out with one hand over his head. He quickly opened his car and took out an umbrella.

Zhang Bing opened it and walked back to where Elena was standing.

"Let's go."

Instinctively, Elena raised one hand up and placed it a little under Zhang Bing's huge hand, grabbing onto the umbrella.

They waited just a bit before running out into the rain. They first went over to the passenger's seat, and Zhang Bing helped Elena open the door, preventing even a single raindrop from hitting her.

After that, Zhang Bing walked over to the driver's seat and sat down, shaking off the rain from his umbrella.

Zhang Bing gave Elena his umbrella so she wouldn't get wet while walking from the car to the door of the apartment building.

"Thank you for taking me out to lunch today. I really enjoyed it."

Zhang Bing kept his gaze fixed on Elena until she disappeared from his sight before he drove away.

Hmm, does anyone else think Zhang Bing is acting a little weird?
