" Delilah is a child, mother..." Chen Xiao said. Unfortunately, it worsens the situation.

" A child? A child? If she were a child, she wouldn't be in high school, isn't that right? I'm giving you my warning Xiao, do not spoil this child. If you keep this up, how will she take over the company when it is her time?",

" I am sorry, I promise not to do it again", her voice was so soft, it sounded inaudible, but it still could be heard. She was currently bowing three sixty-five degrees as she apologized.

Luckily, this time, the honey trap worked. Old madam Chen sighed as she pinched her temples, she returned the phone to its owner.

" Eat up and get ready for school", Old madam Chen ordered as she ate expressionlessly.

Delilah's eyes lit up," Thank you grandma, Delilah loves you the most", she brown nosed the elderly woman.

" Mm!", Old madam Chen grunted in response.

" * cough·cough·cough*...", Chen Xiao coughed slightly.

" Delilah loves daddy too...", she giggled.

At that moment, Delilah quickly stood up from her seat, she was running late.

" Dad, grandma, I'll be leaving now" she said as she carried her backpack preparing to leave.

" Wait!" Old madam Chen's authoritative voice rang out in the silent room, Delilah froze and slowly turned around, questions flashing in her eyes. " Finish your milk!", Old madam Chen added and didn't say more.

*GU·GU·GU·*, Delilah hurriedly emptied the milk and placed the empty glass on the table.

She kissed Old madam Chen and Chen Xiao on the cheek before she sprinted out of the house.
