Chapter 6- Delilah's family (1)

One morning….

" morning dad, morning grandma", Delilah greeted with a quick bow as she entered the dining room, with her phone in a hand and her backpack in the other. She looked like she was in a rush.

She sat on a chair before the dining table, and the maid in the room served her meal.

"Thank you", Delilah smiled to the maid who got stunned by the beautiful girl's smile.

Delilah held up her phone, browsing on it after she picked a steamed bun and put it in her mouth.

Chen Xiao and Old madam Chen looked at each other before staring back at Delilah, whose attention was on her phone.

Being a strict and disciplined woman, the old madam plucked the phone out of Delilah's hand with her chopstick and yelled," You spoiled brat, is that what the dinning room is for??"

Delilah looks sheepishly at her dad, who always supports her," Dad…", she said. She looked like she was about to cry.

" Mom, Lila is just a kid…", Chen Xiao said to the old madam.

Chen Xiao, Delilah's father is a wealthy man, he is one of the leading leaders of the business industry in the country, he falls in the 11th rank of the wealthiest person in the country, and he's very humble. He's the first son of Old madam Chen, he has a younger sister, Chen Bo Lian, who was fond of Delilah.
