Chpt #24 - It’s over

The day is finally coming to an end.

It's already 8pm and Randy totally didn't sense anything. The last event is taking the ferris wheel.

"It has been a long day isn't it? It's been such a long time since i had so much fun." Randy told Nancy.

"Me too" Nancy looks out of the window.

"Hey let's share secrets to one another. I'll start first. Actually i have the same birthmark as you on my arm. No one knows about it because I've wearing long sleeve. Is that considered a secret?"Nancy laughed and insists to get the truth out from him.

Nancy knew about the birthmark when he was "Ryan".

"Hmm mine? I don't think i have any. Maybe my secret will be…liking you?" Randy laughed.

"Hey not fair!" Nancy slaps Randy arm.

"Okay okay. Actually I'm an adopted child. My biological family, mum, dad and sister, died in a car accident while we were traveling. Honestly I don't remember but my adopted parents told me about it." Randy sighed and smile.

"Oh I'm sorry to hear that. Is there…anything else you want to share?" Nancy softly asked.

Randy shakes his head and pointed outside the window "Look there! The view is so pretty"

Nancy forced herself to smile and she was so disappointed that she was in the verge of tears.

"Hey. You know they saw if a couple kiss when they reaches the top of the ferries wheel, their relationship will last forever" Randy whispered to Nancy.

Without even giving any signals, Randy cups her face and kissed her. Nancy was clueless and she didn't know what to do.

Minutes later after they past the top of the ferries wheel, she pushes him away and looks away.

"What if, those are just rumours?" Nancy softly said

Randy turns Nancy and now she is facing him. "Don't worry. I'll make sure it happens"

Nancy sighed and looks down and the finally end the ferries wheel and they step out.

Randy holds her hand as they walk towards the car.

As they reach the car, Nancy handed over a letter and told Randy not to open it. She took 20 steps away from him and said in tears,

"Don't move!"

"I know everything and I've given you alot of chances to explain yourself"

Nancy took another deep breath as she was crying so badly. Randy couldn't resist and wanted to go towards her and hugs her but Nancy screamed not to move.

"CEO Ryan Gu! Till when do you want to lie to me! Let's not meet up anymore."

Nancy turns and ran away.

She hate liars. No one likes liars especially when you grew up in a broker family. You will never trust that love last long or even trust that love exist.

Nancy quickly took the taxi and asked the driver to drive off.

Randy quickly opens the envelope and only to see that she returns the necklace and 2 letters.

One is her resignation letter while the other is a letter on how she founds out the truth.

Ryan went to his car and start slamming the steering wheel and started crying too. It was the first time that he has fallen with someone so deeply.

Ryan drop Desmond a text asking to accompany him for a drink at Universe.
