Chapter 7

The man in black suit stopped his step in front of Elisa, their eyes met with each others Elisa was first to speak as she greets Sameul.

"Hello! Mr.Miller",she gives a light smile as she speak. Sameul looks at Elisa for a second before greeting her back "Hello! Ms.Brown" he presses his lips as he passes her.

The smile on Elisa's face disappears as Sameul passes her. Elisa also turns herself towards Sameul and Ryan.

Sameul gets in the car, Ryan also gets in the car as he nods his head to Elisa, She looks at the both men as she stays there dully.

The car starts and Sameul looks at the image of Elisa in the rearview mirror getting smaller and smaller.

Elisa also watches their car getting further away.She turns her foot and starts to walk towards the bus stop.

She gets on the bus, a light drizzle starts to pour she sees a couple running towards the bus stop. She recalls the day when she was returning from the college and caught by a downpour at first it was a light drizzle when she was at college but by the time their lecture finished the drizzle changed in heavy downpour, so she went to the library and started reading a novel by the time she finished reading novel the clock has already reached 9 o'clock the sky has darkened but the rain hasn't stopped for a bit. Elisa starts to head over to the bus stop as she wears her cap of the windcheater and starts to run with her hand over her head her eyes are on the ground as she runs suddenly she run under a umbrella she didn't realise that in front of her was a person so she apologise and make her way out of the umbrella but a warm hand grabs her arms she looks at the person the person holding her arms was Sameul.

They both got in his car, Elisa feels warm as she has been soaked by the rain.She feels that there is someone who cares about her like her family, like her mother.

Elisa reaches her office she met her colleagues at the entrance they were talking about their company's new project.So, she also gets information about their new investor on their project.

After a tiring day of work Elisa is on the bus stop waiting for bus when James also gets there.He stands next to Elisa and starts to look at road as if he is also here to take a bus.

"You're also here to take bus?", James asks.

"Yes"Elisa replies.

"What do you think of our yesterday's dinner? "James asks.

"Dinner?" Elisa repeats after James.

James ruffles his hair with one hand and looks at Elisa,Elisa also looks at him,"James, I think you are nice person and you should have someone who could love you the most" the light drizzle starts again but the red setting sun is clearly visible from bus stop, Elisa opens her mouth again and looks at James,"But, that person isn't me"

Elisa gets on the bus as at this moment the bus arrives as soon as she finished speaking.Looking back from the bus door "You aren't going home?" she asks.

James also follows Elisa, Elisa sits on the window seat and James also sits next to her.

After a moment of hesitating James asks "Why?"

Elisa looks at him,"Because you are a good colleague of mine"

(and I don't want to hurt you by lying to you) Elisa thinks in her mind.

Both stays silent as they reaches their stop.

James follows Elisa to her building and they both bid farewell to each other as they parts their way.

As Elisa was getting in the lift a person also got on the lift. Both of them pressed their respective number of button.

The lifts open at the third floor but as soon as Elisa lifts her feet someone grabs her arm she feels a sharp pain at her arm in a moment her back was at the wall of lift and Sameuls both hands are on each side of her making no way to escape, she notice that someone is waiting for the lift and watching them.

Elisa tries to avoid his eyes which was looking at her vigorously she has never seen him like this before so she was a bit shocked. "What are you doing?,Mr.Miller" asks Elisa as she also looks at him, she is very shocked by his sudden change in behaviour.

After a moment the lifts opens again at 6th floor Sameul strides out of the lift without speaking a word.The lift door closes again and reaches 7th floor Elisa presses the button again and reaches her floor.

Elisa opens the door and switches on the light as she drinks the water she thinks that Sameul has changed a lot in these 9 months, she have never seen him as aggressive as today,he has always been calm and cool headed person.
