First night

After the picnic, Magnus takes his grandmother and wife to the actual nature park. Before reaching the park, Selena stops on her track. The entrance to the park is like the actual entrance of the forbidden forest. She recalls the days coming in and out of the forest to meet Eon. Selena feels again the longing in her heart. She deeply sighs and continues walking as she sees Magnus gesturing to her to come along.

Big and tall trees and cold wind breeze greet them as they enter the nature park. Selena is just quietly looking around. She thought, "This looks like the forbidden forest.". She recollects her past with the place. Magnus, however, did not focus on the beauty of nature as he notices Selena being occupied. He looks at her and he sees sadness in her eyes. So he approaches her and asks, "Is there something wrong? Do you not like it here?". Selena looks at him and smiles while shaking her head.

"No. It is beautiful here. Just like home.". She pauses for a moment and continues talking, "This looks like the place I run into whenever I am upset especially having a quarrel with my parents. This is my comfort place. Whenever I am here, I feel free and serene. It is just that I grow up going in here and live in another world.".

Magnus is just quietly listening to his wife. Hearing those from Selena, he could feel what she had been through before knowing him. Magnus cannot find the right words to say so he does the thing he knows that would comfort her. He grabs Selena by the wrist and hugs her. He hugs her tightly. Selena is caught off guard but she hugs him back. She then speaks, "Thank you for bringing us here.".

Magnus breaks off the hug and looks at Selena with a smile, "My pleasure.". Then he kisses her. Selena's eyes widen. Magnus stops the kiss and laughs seeing her expression. Selena comes to her senses and smacks her husband on the shoulder, "What are you doing? There are a lot of people here.". Magnus replies, "They will not mind and who cares. They cannot tell me what or not to do.". Selena just laughs.

Magnus takes her hand. "Come on, let us not make Nana wait. We have a long way to go before we get to the seaside.". Selena's eyes are filled with amazement as she heard the last thing in the sentence. "Did you say seaside?". He smiles at her and did not reply. "Come on, let us continue walking.". Selena happily follows.

An hour later, they reach the shore. Selena's tiredness faded as she sees the sea and hears the waves. She mutters, "Wow. It is so beautiful. I cannot believe it.". Miss Luna who seems to have heard her, asks, "Is it your first time to see a sea, dear?". Selena looks at Miss Luna and responds, "Yes, Nana. It is my first time. I had always dreamed of seeing one. I only saw this in books. And now I am seeing in person. It is so amazing.". She closes her eyes, inhales the fresh air, and exhales. She opens her eyes and a smile is formed on her lips. Magnus is just staring at his wife then Miss Luna talks to him. "Did you know it is her first time? And that is why you brought us here?". He looks at his grandmother and smiles, "It is a pure coincidence, Nana and I am glad that I chose this place.".

The night came, they are at the nature park's restaurant. They are happily chatting while having dinner. "I hope we can visit here from time to time.", Selena suddenly mentions. Magnus looks at her with a smile, "Not a problem. We can come here on every occasion to celebrate.". She smiles at him.

Miss Luna looks at them and feels joy in her heart. Her eyes start to tear up. Before Magnus and Selena could see, she wipes her eyes with the napkin. She then suggests a toast, "Let us toast this wonderful day and to the following days to come.". Then their evening ended.

Miss Luna has a separate room so Magnus and Selena are sharing a room. Selena is feeling nervous. She mutters to herself, "We are sharing a room in the mansion. Why does this feel so different? It is like day one on the mansion.". She sighs. Then the bathroom door opens which Selena jumps a bit out of shock. Magnus comes out with only a towel at the bottom. Selena looks away, pretending to get her things ready for a shower.

"It is your turn.", Magnus tells Selena. Selena, without looking, stands up from the bed and goes to the bathroom, passing Magnus. She closes the door immediately. Magnus laughs.

Inside the bathroom, Selena sighs with relief and begins having a shower. After 30 minutes, she is feeling nervous again. She even considers staying in the bathroom. She sighs and mutters to herself, "You cannot stay here Selena. You have to get out.". She slowly opens the bathroom and before coming out totally, she sneaks her head out. Selena sees that Magnus' eyes are already closed. "Okay, good. He is asleep.", she quietly mutters. She then goes out of the bathroom and tiptoes her way to the cabinet to put her things. She goes to the bed and carefully lays on it so that she cannot wake Magnus.

Selena successfully lays on the bed without any movements from Magnus. She places the blanket up into her neck. She is about to close her eyes when Magnus suddenly gets up and moves closer to her. Selena's eyes widen when Magnus is on top of her. Magnus' face is moving closer to hers. And then his lips meet Selena's lips. Magnus begins kissing Selena. Selena is still in shock but when her husband deepens the kiss, she starts kissing him back.

At the moment, Selena is feeling nervous, not knowing what will happen. Magnus is kissing her deeply every minute. He then kisses her down to her neck. Magnus is reaching the button of the bedside table lamp and turns it off. The night goes on with Magnus and Selena making love.

The next morning, Selena is awakened by the ray of the sun coming out from the gap of the curtain. She opens her eyes and looks around. She seems confused at first and suddenly remembers that they are staying at the cabin of the nature park. She tries to move but realizes that there is an arm that is wrapped around her. When she looks on her side, she sees Magnus still asleep and has no shirt. Selena at herself and she also have no shirt. She immediately grabs the blanket to cover herself. "Oh my goodness.". She calms herself down. "I have to go the bathroom first before he wakes up." So Selena carefully takes Magnus' arm away and slowly goes down the bed. She quietly takes her things to the cabinet and goes to the bathroom.

After 30 minutes, she goes out of the bathroom. She then sees that Magnus is already awake. She cannot look at him in the eyes. Magnus greets her, "Good morning.". Selena is feeling awkward but still replies, "Good morning.". She walks straight to the cabinet and arranges her things. She hears that Magnus stands up. She thought that he will go to the bathroom. But she is shocked when she feels him behind her and hugs her. Magnus presses his face to her head and smells her hair. "You smell nice.". Selena is stunned and cannot move. He continues to speak, "You do not have to be nervous around me. We are a married couple that loves each other.". She replies, "I am sorry. It is just I am not used to it.".

Magnus holds Selena on her shoulders and turns her around to face him. "You do not need to apologize. It will take time and it starts now. I am just saying so you have assurance.". Selena smiles, "Thank you.". And then suddenly, she unconsciously hugs her husband. Magnus is taken aback but still smiles, "I think you got it.". Then they both laugh.

Magnus and Selena get Miss Luna from her room. Then they go to the restaurant to eat breakfast. While eating, Miss Luna notices something in Selena. "Selena, dear, why are blushing?". Selena stops eating and holds her cheeks, "What do you mean, Nana?". Miss Luna looks at her and then at her grandson, "Hmmm... Something happened last night, am I right?".

Selena bows her head slightly and blushing even more. Magnus responds, "Nana, please stop.". Miss Luna laughs, "Oh, come on you two. You are not teenagers anymore. But okay, I will stop.". She then continues to eat her bacon and egg with a smile. It makes her happy to see Magnus and Selena showing progress in their relationship. They are married after all.

In the afternoon, before going home, Selena and Magnus go to the seashore. They are standing while enjoying the cool ocean breeze. Selena's eyes are filled with amazement. "We just arrive here this morning and it is my first time to see the sea, but I already love it.". The sea is calm and the waves are normal. Magnus goes behind Selena and hugs her. Selena smiles and puts her arms on his arms wrapped around her. Then Magnus whispers in Selena's ears, "I love you.". She takes his hands and turns around to face him, "I love you too, Magnus.". She smiles at him and he smiles back.

On the way home, Selena is looking happily at the window. She is imagining things. She is imagining a new life as a married couple with Magnus. She also envisions a scenario wherein she is cooking in the kitchen and Magnus would come home at night and greets her with a kiss. She pictures home with children running around the mansion. That made her smile and Magnus had seen it so he asks, "What are you thinking?". Selena looks at her husband with a smile, "Nothing. Just happy thoughts.". Magnus smiles and focuses on the road.

Selena goes back to looking at the window. "I hope this will stay forever.". And that moment, Selena sees Alvira on the side of the road while they are passing by. Alvira is looking straight into her eyes. Her eyes are full of anger but on her lips, she is smiling and on her hand is a butter knife. Selena shivers to see Alvira's smile. It is not a sweet smile but a sinister one. Selena tries to reach Magnus' hand to stop the car. She is trembling. "Stop... Stop the... Stop the car.".

Magnus is confused. "What? Stop the car? Why?". Selena shouts, "Just stop the car!". She instantly comes out of the car as soon as it stops. "Selena. Where are you going?". She did not respond and is focusing on the direction where she saw Alvira. She walks faster but Magnus caught up to her and stops her from walking further. Magnus holds her by the shoulder, "Selena, what is going on?." Selena still did not respond and did not look at Magnus, instead, she is fixated on the spot.

Magnus slightly shakes Selena's body, "Selena, look at me. Look at me.". He finally made her look at him. "What is happening? Tell me.". Selena's eyes begin to tear, "I saw her, Magnus. I saw Alvira. She was there. She was smiling at me while holding a knife.". Magnus looks at where she is pointing but no one is there. "There is no one there, Selena. Come on, you are just tired.".

Selena sighs and has come back to her senses. "Yes, you are right. I am so sorry. I do not know what has gotten into my mind.". Magnus puts his hand on her right cheek, "It is okay. You do not have to apologize.". Then he hugs her, "I will not let anyone hurt you, okay?". They go back to the car and continue their way home.

Alvira who is hiding in a big and thick tree comes out and watches as the car goes farther away. "Magnus is mine, Selena. He is mine.".
