Punishment

"do I...do I make nothing but broken promises"; I said to myself.

"Your Grace, she didn't really mea....; said Zao but I interrupted her. It's okay, I'm fine; I said as I walked out of Soraha Villa back into my villa. I sat on my bed lost in thoughts. Do I really make nothing but broken promises, back in my old life, I was nothing but a poor bastard daughter begging from the street being criticized and treated like an outcast. I had no one who cared for me, love me or even be with me. I was all alone an orphan who run away from the orphanage and had nowhere to go but to live on the street (tears down) but I still had hope believing that this life wasn't meant for me. (wipes away tears and stands up) I will not allow anyone to go through what I went through, I will not sit there and do nothing.

Zao!! I exclaimed sternly.

"Yes your Grace; exclaimed Zao as she came running, you called for me.

"Where's Lucy now?!!; I asked firmly.

"Your Grace, I'm afraid she's no where to be found. What?! where did she go?!.

Your Grace, the last time we saw her was after the incident and she run out of the palace.

"Run out?!!; I exclaimed

Yes your Grace. Come on we need to go and find her but as I was about to step out of my Villa someone barged in with force.

"Lin Juluu!! how dare you run out of the court without any good reason; exclaimed the Emperess Dowager furiously.

"Good reason?!, my children got hurt and that's not a good reason enough for you; I exclaimed holding back my anger.

"Children?! those rats you picked up from the street, you call those beggers children; asked the Emperess Dowager furiously.

"Emperess Dowager, I'll warn you to watch your tone when speaking about my children.

"Watch my tone?!! because of those lonesome brats you left a very important meeting, just for those wretched bastards, immediately I raised my hand and slapped the Emperess Dowager not holding back my anger anymore as the Emperor walked in.

"What's going on here?! asked the Emperor furiously.

You..you Lin Juluu how dare you slap me, I the Emperess Dowager, mother of the Emperor and you dare to slap me.

"Huh?! I said as I walked closer to her and slapped her again infront of the Emperor.

"Lin Juluu!! what's gotten into you?! how dare you slap my mother, the Emperess Dowager your superior; said the Emperor furiously as he walked closer to me and held up my hand, it's looks like you haven't changed at all and was just pretending to gain back my favour wasn't it.

"You can think anyhow you want to and I don't need to put up an act just to gain any favour from you; I said furiously as I pulled out my hand from his hand and walked out to find Lucy.

Lin!! , Lin Juluu!!! guards stop her.

Yes your majesty, said the guards as they all run to surround me.

"Your Grace; cried Zao. Stay were you are, don't come anywhere closer to me.

Your Grace, please surrender now, we don't want to use any force on you; exclaimed one guard anxiously. I stood there quietly not knowing what to do as I didn't have any skills in martial arts or fighting, I watched as they continued moving forward towards me and I watched as the Emperor had look of disappointment and rage in his eyes. Arrest her!!; he exclaimed. as they pounced on me and held me down with my hands behind my back.

"Your Grace!!! your highness her Grace didn't.... Zao!!! I shouted to prevent her from speaking.

"But your Grace?!!; exclaimed Zao. Just go and find Lucy and make sure she's okay. But?!...just go!!!; I shouted as I saw her face full of guilt, it's an order; I said coldly as Zao run off into the town.

"Emperess Lin Juluu; I'm giving you the opportunity to speak up and apologize to the Emperess Dowager right now; exclaimed the Emperor but I just kept quiet and ignored him.

"Fine!!!; he shouted as he grits his teeth. Lock up the Emperess in her Villa without any food or water for a month and should have no visiter's during this period. The guards looked at each other unsure of what to do. Did you not understand what I just said!!! or do you also want to be punished.

Of cause not your majesty, we'll do as you say; said one guard as they rushed towards my Villa and tossed me inside my Villa and shut the doors locked with guards staying on guard.

I should have known she was still the same, nothing's changed; said the Emperor inwardly as he walked away.

"Serves you right Lin Juluu; said Sao as she chuckled, with this much time I can get closer to the Emperor and win his favour and become the new Emperess(grins).
