a week before, London

"Dr Shin, there's an emergency patient" a nurse with blue uniform talk to a woman with white doctor coat.

"where are they?" A woman asked

"already in OR" Nurse said

"okay, tell them I'll be there and be ready" woman said

she's Shin Hyun Ji, she's a 33 years old surgeon at hospital in London. she's been working there for 8 years. her skills is known for the best among several doctors in London. her specialist is cardiac or heart.

she has long successful record of operations, but that day something happens.

Hyun Ji feels her vision get blurry, she's looking at her hands that covered by blood from her patient. her legs feel heavy and her heart feel so much in pain.

"doctor!!!"

she can hear screaming sound from all staff inside operation room before she faint.

Hyun Ji open her eyes slowly, this cold vibes reminds her of hospital recovery room. she try to look around, she can feel her hand tied to something. and it's tied to some infuses pipe. she's trying to remember what actually happened to her.

"hey" A voice heard

"are you okay?" the voice getting clear, it's her friend, Jenny, also a nurse there.

Hyun Ji nods

"what happened?" Hyun Ji asked

"you're faint, and apparently you get heart attack" Jenny said

"me? a heart attack?" Hyun Ji doesn't believe what she heard

"yes. glad everyone is aware" Jenny said

"what about my patient?" Hyun Ji asked

"he's good, we called another doctor immediately and your residents is really helpful there" Jenny said

"I'm so grateful " Hyun Ji said

"If you so grateful then listen to me. get some day off, do full body check up"

"okay, Roger it" Hyun Ji smile

next day Hyun Ji goes under full body check up from MRI to Scan. and the results is pretty surprising for her.

"a heart doctor get heart problem? John, you must be kidding" Hyun Ji said to her fellow doctor

"no, honey. it's true. now pack your stuff, go back to your home. be ready for surgery " John said

"but there's so much patients to handle" Hyun Ji said

"listen, doctor's health also important " John said

"go home, and another suggest from me. call your family" John said

Hyun Ji gave him cold look

"okay, okay , I get it. but emotional support is important, you know it as a doctor how big impact given by that support " John said

"it's just a simple operation" Hyun Ji said

"easy for you to say, but as I know that is pretty hard surgery. we will never know what will happen "John said

"this just an early check up. it could be worse you know that " John said

"thanks John" Hyun Ji said

"no need honey, I'll be the one who take care of your further health. so now please call your family " John said.

"don't worry John. I'll meet them directly " Hyun Ji said

"but it's dangerous, what if..." John said

"you know me John" Hyun Ji said while walking out from John's room

and now Hyun Ji here at Seoul, in her brother's place. she want to tell her brother, Hyun Jae. but it's hard than she thought. so she do something else.

"are you going or not?" Hyun Ji said

Hyun Jae has to go cause his nuna is a crazy girl. he afraid Hyo Joo will get culture shock from her. cause Hyun Ji is one of a kind.

"hurry up" Hyun Ji walk to the lift

Hyun jae followed her

"why nuna so rush, I haven't wear my shoes properly " Hyun Jae said while tied his shoelaces

"you can use slipper but you want to buy some time. you think I didn't realize it" Hyun Ji smile evilly

Hyun Ji walk so fast and open the door. everyone look at her, a beauty stunning woman with glam style.

"who is named Hyo Joo here?" she asked to Jina

Hyun Jae try to give "no" sign to Jina but Jina's finger already pointing somewhere.

"ah she's there thank you" Hyun Ji open her sunglasses and winked

Hyo Joo get out from storage room, bring some boxes of products.

"Hyo Joo-ssi" Hyun Ji call Hyo Joo

Hyo joo put down the boxes since she can't see who talks to her

"yes its me" Hyo Joo look to a beautiful elegant girl in front of her

"ah, you are so cute" Hyun Ji said

"follow me" Hyun Ji said

"but I'm working" Hyo joo said

"you'll talk to her manager won't you? Hyun...Jae..." Hyun Ji look at Hyun jae who hide behind the shelf

"ye...yes.. yes..." Hyun Jae run to Jina

"who is she?" Jina asked

"she's my sister. please I'll take Hyo Joo for a while" Hyun Jae said

Hyo Joo and Hyun Ji is walking together while Hyun Jae walks at the back.

"ah, I'll walk without it. Hyun Jae's place is near, I can borrow some slipper " Hyo Joo said

Hyun Ji stop walking and move her body close to Hyo Joo

"haven't you suspect anything?" Hyun Ji link her hand at Hyun jae neck

"why I must suspect a sister of my boyfriend " Hyo Joo said

Hyun Ji then push Hyun Jae

"daebak (wow) are we really look alike? that you at first glance knew that I'm his sister" Hyun Ji hold Hyo Joo arms

"not likely but I got same vibe from both of you" Hyo Joo said

"oh my GOD, where did you find this super clever genius girl?" Hyun Ji hug Hyo Joo like she's mine

"hey, let her go, she's mine" Hyun Jae said

"no, she's so cute and clever I like her. I'll sleep here tonight and we are gonna talking so much " Hyun Ji said

"Jojo?" Hyun Jae surprised

"yes Jo Jo, from hyo Joo. why that's cute" Hyun Ji said

Hyo joo just nodding. actually Hyun Ji like girl version of Alex, an eccentric style but actually a warm person.

"ah okay, but wait" Hyun Jae said

" wear this" Hyun Jae give his shoes to Hyo Joo

"I can't let you walk without anything " Hyun Jae said

"it's okay, we almost get there" Hyo Joo said

"yes its okay" Hyun Ji said

"ah, what to do with your behavior. give Hyo Joo's shoes again" Hyun Jae said

"but my leg hurts " Hyun Ji said

Hyun Jae then get his sister to his back and carrying her

"I can piggyback you" Hyun Jae said

"get down me, this is embarrassing " Hyun Ji said

"why?" Hyun Jae asked

"cause I'm old woman" Hyun Ji said

"then it's make sense" Hyun Jae said and laugh

Hyun Ji hit his head

"how dare you" Hyun Ji said

Hyun Jae piggyback Hyun Ji while Hyo Joo following them and hold Hyun Ji shoes. Hyo joo then take some pictures without that siblings realizes.

"what are you eat? why you so heavy?" Hyun Jae sit at the couch

"I thought my back will broken" Hyun Jae said

"what did you say?" Hyun Ji want to hit Hyun Jae again

"Hyo Joo help me" Hyun Jae hide behind Hyo Joo

Hyun Ji then just walk away

"I'll sleep in your room" Hyun Ji said

"clean it first, I'll take shower " Hyun Ji said

Hyun Jae lean his head to Hyo Joo shoulder

"are you tired?" Hyo Joo asked

Hyo Joo pat Hyun Jae head and strokes his hair

" let's clean it together " Hyo Joo said

Hyun Ji and Hyo Joo sleep at Hyun Jae's bed while Hyun Jae sleep at the couch.

Hyun Ji asked many things to Hyo Joo they talked about many things.

"Hyun Ji-ssi.." Hyo Joo wants to asked something

"just call me unnie " Hyun Ji said

"oh okay, how is Hyun Jae when he's still a kid?" Hyo Joo asked

"hm... how I say it. you know when he born I was 12 years old that time. I really want a brother and I swear I'll love him all my life" Hyun Ji said

"he's timid and shy kid back then. he not speak too much but his laugh is something that I loves. I really loves him in unique ways" Hyun Ji said

"he will asked about his homework, or many things. that's why I really studied a lot back then. cause I want him to learn many things from me and proud became my brother" Hyun Ji smiled

"but then, I really did good, I got scholarships from London medical school. that time Hyun jae still 7 years old. I leave him alone for studied overseas, I just get back twice a year and after that I'm working there till now. my time to get back here is limited. I missed many important moments at his life" Hyun Ji voice seems sad

"I try to get know about his life, his friend, his school, call him or sent him a gift. when I know he's already has girlfriend it's made me jealous cause he never told me about it. maybe than jealous I might be sad. so I want to meet you" Hyun Ji said

"Unnie, I'll never ever replace your place in Hyun Jae's heart. unnie will be his best sister ever, trust me" Hyo Joo said and shown a picture of them that she took

"when you took this? it's so touching " Hyun Ji said

"I just, cause unnie reminds me of my brother" Hyo Joo said

"oh you have brother, tell me about him" Hyun Ji said

"he's everything for me " Hyo Joo said

"your eyes... reflect your feelings. like I can feel how much you love your brother " Hyun Ji said

"same expression that unnie shown when talked about Hyun Jae. that's why I know unnie really love and care about him. is it the reason why you hesitate ?" hyo joo asked

"hesitate? hesitate about what?" Hyun Ji asked

"like now, Hyun Jae have kind of habit when he nervous or hesitate. and unnie also did it before " hyo joo said

"what is it?" Hyun Ji asked

"playing with things around you, moving your hand around it. I realized it when we sit at the couch unnie keep moving your hand like scratch something" Hyo Joo said

"seriously, where my brother meet you. you really a sensitive person" Hyun Ji amazed

"whatever is it. just try to say it, don't hide it. he's your brother" Hyo Joo said

Hyun Ji can't sleep at all she keep thinking how to tell his brother.

Hyun Ji wake up from her sleep, apparently she slept well last night. first thing in the morning she can smell something delicious. she walks out and find Hyo Joo and Hyun Jae laughing while cooking.

"oh, unnie, you're awake. please sit, we will finish soon " Hyo Joo said

Hyo Joo and Hyun Jae bring the plate to the table.

"It's just simple breakfast, I hope unnie like it" Hyo Joo said

"no its more than enough " Hyun Ji look at the foods, it's been a while since someone cooked for her.

"unnie, I have class. so unnie and Hyun Jae can enjoy the breakfast together " Hyo Joo said

she winked to Hyun Ji

"bye" Hyo Joo said to Hyun Jae

Hyo Joo left them together.

"nuna, let's eat" Hyun Jae said

"Nuna, I have exam today. we can go to mom's and dad's tonight " Hyun Jae chewing his bread

"Hyun Jae about that" Hyun Ji gulping

"why? you said you already called them" Hyun Jae asked

Hyun Ji explains everything to Hyun Jae. Hyun Jae eyes got bigger.

"when will you undergo the operation?" Hyun Jae said

"I don't know" Hyun Ji look down

"don't joke anymore. let's go as fast as we could" Hyun Jae said

"but your school " Hyun Ji said

"why I need to take care of that things at the moment my only nuna is suffering " Hyun Jae said

"let's pack up, if you buying time again I'll call mom and dad" Hyun Jae said

Hyun Ji smile faintly, she realized that her brother is really grown up man now.

after long flight they arrive at London. Hyun Jae try to call Hyo Joo with Hyun Ji's phone.

"Hyo Joo, I'm sorry. I can't say goodbye to you" Hyun Jae said

"It's okay, I already knew about it. be there with Hyun Ji, I hope the surgery goes well. and I'll be missing you... like... a lot" Hyo Joo said

"wait for me okay" Hyun Jae said

Hyun Ji enter the operation room after 1 day observing by her doctor.

Hyun jae sit at waiting room near operation room.

"hey, are you Hyun Jae?" a young man wearing patient clothes call him

"oh, yes" He said

"my name is Kane. I'm dr Shin patient " He said

"oh, I'm her brother " Hyun Jae said

" we all pray for Dr Shin operation " Kane said

"we?" Hyun Jae asked

"yes, a the patient and staffs here. I never thought will meet Dr Shin's brother. she always talked about how she really miss her brother and many things about you" Kane said

"Hyun Jae" Another people call him

"I'm Jenny, Dr Shin's friend. I'm nurse here. the operation will take long time. Dr Shin asked me to make sure you eat properly. let's go for eat" Jenny said

Three of them, Kane, Jenny and Hyun jae eat at hospital canteen.

"you must eat" Jenny said

"don't worry, John is a great doctor " Jenny said

"yeah, Dr Shin is a survivor " Kane said

Hyun jae just smiling bitter

"after eat let's go to her practice room" Jenny said

"and Kane you need to rest" Jenny said

they enter room where Hyun Ji usually consulted with her patients. there's a desk full of Hyun Ji and Hyun jae photos. the photos that always took every Hyun Jae birthday. some of it is photos when Hyun Jae graduated his school.

"your sister always talked about you. at young age she already become one of the best in this field, but whenever she had free time she will call home and asked about you. she will insist your mother to tell every details. she will brag about how handsome her brother. she really loves you" Jenny said

suddenly Jenny's beeper beep

"oh god" Jenny said

Hyun Jae can feel something so wrong.

they both running to Hyun Ji operation room. Hyun Jae can see through monitoring room.

"what happened?" Hyun Jae asked

"she's get tamponade " Jenny said, Jenny looks so worried

Hyun Jae can't stand anymore, he feels his legs really tired that he down to the floor.

"what will happens to her?" Hyun jae's tears down slowly

"everyone trying their best now" Jenny said

Hyun Ji dreaming, she standing in front if big screen. she's looking her first time knew that she will get a sibling. that time she's just 12 years old girl.

"honey, you will got a sibling " Her mom told her

She feels really happy. she's always talk to her mother's belly. said how she can't wait for the time.

that day is a wonderful day for Hyun Ji. she stand behind glass window looking to her baby brother sleep in the crib at hospital nursery room. Her brother look so small and cute.

Little Hyun Ji will rushed to go back to jer home after school just to see her baby brother. years by years passed. that time Hyun Jae is 6 years old while Hyun Ji is 18 years old.

"nuna, I like doctor. can nuna be my doctor?" Hyun Jae said

"oh, you want me to become a doctor?" Hyun Ji asked

"hm... doctor looks so cool. nuna will look pretty wearing that white coat" little Hyun Jae said

"okay then, I'll promise you that I will become great doctor" Hyun Ji smiling

from that day she really study hard to make her brother come true.

year after she got invited to London medical school.

"nuna, are you gonna go?" Hyun Jae with teary eyes look at her

"if Hyun jae doesn't want to, nuna won't go" Hyun Ji said and patting Hyun Jae hairs

"no... just... I want nuna to be great doctor. but I want nuna stay with me too..." Little Hyun Jae seems to have heavy thoughts

"then I'll study here. I can enter medical school here" Hyun Ji said

"but that's not too... I want nuna go there. nuna looks so happy when got the letter. I will missing nuna so much" little Hyun Jae can't hold his tears anymore, he sobbing, and wipe his tears with his hand.

Hyun Ji heart feel so heavy

"just tell me what I need to do?" Hyun Ji wipes Hyun jae tears

"promise me, nuna will come home often" little Hyun Jae said

"I promise, with all my heart " Hyun Ji said

Hyun Ji come home every semester, till she got accepted at one of hospital in London. she became busy and rarely back home.

The screen gone and everything goes dark. Hyun Ji can hear a voice, a kid voice.

"nuna"

she can hear a voice, she looking around and see Little Hyun Jae stand at her back.

"nuna, don't leave me" Little Hyun Jae said

"no I won't leave you" Hyun Ji hug Little Hyun jae

"then why you not wake up?" Little Hyun jae said

"how can I wake up? what I must do?" Hyun Ji said

"look there's a door. open it" Little Hyun jae said

"let's go" Hyun Ji hold Little Hyun Jae's hand

"no, nuna need to go alone. my place is here in your memory" Little Hyun jae said

Hyun Ji smile and open the door without hesitation. as soon as she open the door she can see a light.

she realized how precious time she spent with Hyun jae that time.

John enter the room

"so this is the patient " John said

"thank you so much " Hyun Jae hug John

"no, no, your sister is survivor " John pat Hyun Jae's back

"Hyun Jae" Hyun Ji said

"meet John... my fiance " Hyun Ji said

"what?" Hyun Jae surprised

"I'm sorry not able to say it earlier cause I can't face you if something bad happens when I operate her. it will be lifetime regret" John said

"but when? why you don't tell me" Hyun Jae asked

"easy, your sister is not fully recovered " John said

"Hyun Ji let me, okay" John look at Hyun ji

"we engage about a month ago and planned to meet your parents next week. we even booked a plan and asked for day off. that's why both of us try to do many operation before that time. and this thing suddenly happened and I know the best priorities is your sister health " John said

"so Hyun Jae, let's go back to Korea together. we can book you a same flight with us. we still had a time until it while Hyun Ji recovered "John said

"oh, but it's next week" Hyun Jae said

"yes, there's a problem?" John asked

a week more, it's mean he won't meet Hyo Joo a week more.
