7. An ugly truth that we want to escape

we stand not far from the market.

"Open your mask and cap" Bom asks the girl

She keep hiding at the guy back

"Hey, why you keep call her and ask her to do something. Who are you" the guy seems angry

"I'm sorry, but our friend just want to confirm something " I try to calm the guy

the guy is definitely older and bigger than us, and had a bad temper, just have one wrong word I'll be get a free punch from him

"Hey, open your mask and cap. They seems know you"

She open her cap and mask, it's Jung Bora. It's Bom girlfriend. Bora is a student in nurse academy, it's not too far from our university. she had tiny figure with short hair. Bom lose his calm side.

"Bora" Bom grab Bora arms but he still manage his angry, he still grab it gently

"Hey let your hand of her" the guy punch Bom

"Please calm" Song hold the guy

"What the hell is going on? Today I'm not in a good mood"

"She's my girlfriend " Bom higher his voice

"What?"

"I said she's my girlfriend "

"Is it true" the guy look at Bora

Bora look around

"No, I not knowing him. Honey let's go. They maybe just mistaken. there's many people here. this is embarrassing "

"What you said" Bom stand

I can't stand anymore, I open my phone and search some pictures. Yes I found it, Bom have send me Bora photo and we have a photo when we eat at the cafe.

"Look at this. Bora date my friend about 2 months ago"

He look at the picture

"This is you, this is you right" the guy show Bora the picture

"No, it wasn't me" she keep denied

She take my phone from the guy and deleted all the photo

" take your phone back, I don't know you all. Don't make a fuss" she give me my phone

"Okay. But you can't lie when I show Bom's phone"

"Bom give me your phone" I asked Bom

" you know what. I don't need to prove anything. You can take her. I don't want a girl like her" Bom walk away

"You, I know something fishy. It's not the first time. Now I'll really dump you. You are a bitch. Just wait I'll say everything about you in the social media. A girl like you must be punished"

"Honey, please. I just waver for a while. He is the one who seduced me" Bora try to chase the guy.

"let go of me. I still try to keep calm. if you still insist I probably hit you" the guy turn on his bike and leave Bora alone standing.

This girl definitely a jerk. I and Song chase Bom and walk with him. Bom don't deserve treat like this.

"I know there's something up. But I keep ignore it and thinks it's just my imagination " Bom compresses his cheek with warm egg.

We just sit in the park and hear Bom talking

We didn't know how to react.

Hyo Joo call me earlier and said she was familiar and she remembered that Bora often comes to shopping there with man, not just one but many. Hyo Joo also work in a caffe near Bora academy. But Hyo Joo didn't know she was Bom girlfriend.

She's definitely a player. But Hyo Joo said I must stay and comfort Bom. She will call me after her works end. Hyo Joo really a good girlfriend and friend, I hope things like this never happen to us.

Bom seems down a bit. But since they just dating maybe it's not too hurt for him. But I was wrong, no matter how short or long the relationship, broke up always sad and this betrayal really hurt Bom's heart.

How can a good man like Bom treat this bad by that girl. Bom have a girlfriend when high school, their relationship was sunk too. Bom said it was his fault , he never told us the exact story. That's how Bom first love ended . He needs long time to open his heart and now he's betrayed by his girlfriend. Reality really hit him.

We sit in the park, in the middle of autumn, even in afternoon It's  feel cold.

After Bom feel little relieved,  Song and Bom headed to their dorm.

"Hyun jae, how Bom now?"

" he's okay now. He and Song back to the dorm. Are you finish work?" I walking home

"Uhm yeah, I've send my stuff to the dorm this morning. And I'll enter the dorm at 6"

"Uh it's just one hour left. Where are you know?"

"I just get out from the store"

"Wait for me, I almost get there"

"Hyo joo" I wave to her

"Are you waiting to long"

"No"

"Hyo Joo, mom want give you something. But i leave at my room"

"Oh"

"I gonna get it, you wanna go with me?"

She suddenly blushing, I think maybe she remembered about our kiss. I hold her hands

"Let's start it properly from  now on"

We walk to my apartment.

"Go in, I'll preparing something"

Hyo Joo not sit but walk to the window and looking outside

I put 3 layered box of food on the table

"What is that?"

"Mom cook something. I told her you gonna enter the dorm. So she prepared plus food for you. She originally make it for Bom and Song. I hope you like it"

"Ah, thank you. Your mom really nice to me, but I can't say goodbye to her"

Hyo joo feel down

"Hyo Joo"

I sang ottoke ottoke song for cheer her

She cover her face cause she feel so embarrassing, I was jump cause embarrassing too

"There's something else you need to bring?"

"Hm, no... I think everything is well pack thanks to you" she smile

I reach Hyo Joo hands

"Like this" i put her hands at my cheeks

She put it a while then she running from me

We run together to our university dorm. Autumn wind make a leaf fly while we running.
