Chapter 31. Suing the Ex

For the past one and a half years, the two of them have been navigating the trial and error of a long-distance relationship, meeting up in various cities across the globe, from New York to Bangkok and everywhere in between. Rayleigh, no longer needing to personally pick up Isabelle from the airport whenever she had a surgery or patient to attend to, had assigned her driver to handle those duties, allowing the couple more flexibility in their schedules.

Isabelle's surprise visits to Rayleigh's hospital were always a highlight for the medical staff. They had grown accustomed to the sight of the beautiful, high-spirited woman, and she had quickly become a beloved figure among the doctors and nurses.

On a few occasions, Anthony, Rayleigh's father, even joined them for lunch in the hospital cafeteria, his warm presence radiating through the room.
