Chapter 36

Preparation for the art competition is in high gear,I have been working so hard for this . The only problem I have is Miss Beatrice,a day wouldn't pass without her making advances to me, I tried ignoring her as much as could but what will I do if she takes her revenge by affecting my grades.

" You look worried is everything alright?" Seraphine asked." We would be off this island in some days and your competition is coming up tomorrow so shouldn't you be practicing with your mentor?"

" I would,I just needed to rest a little" I answered. I felt like telling Seraphine about how my so called mentor has been treating me but I can't summon the courage to tell her. If it wasn't the fact that I promised not to do anything stupid for Seraphine's sake I would have taught her a lesson,just as the old me would do.

I stood up and head to the washroom to get prepared for the final practice with Miss Beatrice. 'I can't wait to get this over with' .

I got dressed ,packed all my brushes and paints and then went to get my phone in the living room. Seraphine already made breakfast,she made one of my favorite 'waffles' . I quickly finished it up and head out of the house. I got to the garden and then suddenly realized I left my phone on the dining table earlier and rushed back in to get it.

I saw a message notification on the screen and it read " Hey handsome,stop avoiding me and let's not put your competition at jeopardy. I promise your wife wouldn't know,won't be available for practice this morning meet me at room number 205 Golden palace hotels by 8pm. I'll be waiting,xoxo".

" Some people would always tempt you into doing what you don't want to do!" I yelled fuming in anger.

I got a cab to the company and went straight into my practice room.

" How dare she threaten me?"

" I would make her pay for this"

Seraphine's POV

" Today's gonna be fun"

" Hello ma'am,it's done" . I ended the call and thought of the dress I'll wear tonight. I finally decided to wear a black t shirt and a pink flared skirt.

It's exactly 7pm,I locked the penthouse and left.

I got to the place and entered my room,I sat on the bed connected my phone with earpiece in my ears waiting for the show to begin.

As soon as I got all the information I needed, I head to the room to end the game.

"Hello everyone game over " I said smiling with satisfaction on getting into the room,I had the spare key stolen earlier from the key bank.

" What.... how are..." Damien stuttered as he tried making a sentence.

" Who are you?. How dare you barge in here?" Beatrice thundered.

" I'm here to take what's mine" I replied her and she looked shocked as if she just saw a ghost.

I saw Damien's phone beep hours ago ,I checked it to meet a message by Miss Beatrice asking him to come to the hotel room. I thought of what to do to save him and I came up with the plan to set the stage and make her pay for threatening him.

I played the conversation they had earlier which one I had recorded and she fell on her knees begging for mercy.

" Pls don't Let this out. I'll do all you want" she pleaded desperately

" Anything I want?" I asked smirking
