Sex Schedule

This was the first time Mariele had looked forward to Searlus arrival. She thought they should talk about the guests who would be staying with them. She is still not willing if foreigners stay too long and colonize his freedom.

As expected that Searlus would be home early today. The sound of a car roaring made her rush off the couch bedroom. Heading for the front door, she caught sight of Curtis's figure. Their guest who welcomed Searlus home the first time. She was always displeased to see that man.

Mariele also thought that conversations between friends who had not seen each other for a long time would take a long time. So, she thought it would be better if she postponed her intention.

Searlus could see his wife leaving. Previously mariele seemed excited to welcome his arrival, now it's the opposite. Mariele's attitude that changed in a short time made him a little confused.

He didn't give chase, then served Curtis first. They decided to sit in the living roomand chat. The first thing they discussed was about the marriage. Searlus didn't send out invitations or give good news because he was worried about what people would think of a gardener's daughter.

It didn't matter to him, but it would be a problem for Mariele. He didn't want his wife to feel bad about their presumptions that seemed to have the truest opinion in the world.

"I'm so disappointed in you, but also can't say anything more after a marriage that has been established for two years. Can only wish you both all the best."

"Thank you." Searlus smiled.

"But... I didn't expect that your taste was so good. Your wife is so beautiful."

Searlus changed his happy expression to beaver. He twitched his eyebrows deeply. "Don't think about stabbing me in the back."

Curtis churn. "Of course."

Searlus shook his head helplessly. His friend can indeed be said to be popular among the women. It's only natural to have your own judgment and actually made him feel good. In the view of his friend who has met many women out there, his wife is one of the most beautiful.

"How's your life in Spain?" Searlus asked.

Curtis sighed as he leaned back. "Spain?"

"Is it so bad? I think Spain is quite advanced with the level of education."

Curtis shrugged his shoulders. "Yes. I only need around seven hundred to two thousand euros a year for tuition fees at public universities. The most constrained is the price of renting a place that is quite expensive. We have to share room to keep cost down. Not to mention the monthly needs that must be met. It's not too difficult for daily life when compared to other countries."

"Do you need money?"

"No, Searlus. I'm not telling you this to beg. I didn't come here to ask you for anything. You've helped me a lot. I owe you one. One day I will definitely repay you."

Searlus chuckled. "No need to reply anything. We are brothers and only help each other."

"I know that you are a very good person."

Curtis got up from his chair. "And, I'd better go and rest before your other kindness becomes a burden to me."

Searlus hugged his friend and said, "Welcome to Colmar. I hope you feel at home here. You can think of this house as your own home."

After a long conversation, Searlus came into the room. Too engrossed in conversation that he forgot that he had just come back from the plantation earlier. His leather bag was still lying beside the chair and made him have to walk to the sitting area again before entering the bedroom.

Mariele no longer wore the same clothes. It's like getting ready to rest. Seeing Searlus' appearance made the movement that wanted to get under the blanket stop. She approached her husband and helped carry the suitcase so it could be stored.

"I'll sleep first," Mariele said, then walked over to the bed.

Searlus pulled his wife's wrist. Mariele stared into the man's dark brown eyes. Not sure what made Searlus stop, but she seemed to know the meaning of the atmosphere that horrified her.

"Do you need anything?" She asked.

"You don't want to talk about our guest?"

That was what Mariele wanted to ask. She refrained from interfering with the homeowner's decisions.

"I think there will be an explanation for your decision."

"Curtis is my best friend. We've been friends for a while. He's a really nice person. Curtis will be staying for a while because of his job at Colmar. Sorry for not telling you this important stuff earlier."

Seeing his wife's dissatisfied expression made Searlus say back, "Are you mad at me?"

How could Mariele be angry at this highly respected person? There's no good reason to be angry. There was no way she could say that Curtis' arrival had disturbed her freedom.

"I understand. No problem."

Mariele tried to show her smile even though inside she didn't accept it.

"Get some rest so tomorrow morning you can go to work with a fresh body."

"Actually, there's one more thing I need."

Once again Mariele shivered all over her body. "Wh-what?"

"You haven't forgotten about today, have you?"

Mariele did not forget the special schedule they had agreed upon. Today is the day when sex is to be had. Usually, they will do it two to three times a week. Not without reason, because they are trying to have children. Actually Mariele was never ready for that.

"Oh, yes. You are right."

Searlus frowned thinly. He didn't know that his wife would look so depressed every time he asked about their sex schedule. He should have just done it without asking first, so that the atmosphere between them would not be as bad as it is now.

"I'm a little tired. How about we postpone it?" said Searlus.

Mariele didn't know that Searlus intention was to postpone their schedule. Unlike the usual Searlus, routine in every schedule, working outside the home or working indoors.

"Do you need a massage?"

"No need, Mari. You can rest."

Mariele said nothing more. She approached the bed slowly while still watching her husband changing clothes. Pretty confusing. This is the first time Searlus has decided to postpone the sex schedule. Usually, she's the one making excuses although in the end she can't refuse to accept togetherness in bed.
