Marcus Cutler POV:
Julia stepped aside and invited me into her home. I stepped through the door, not knowing what I was going to do, only that this was somehow the best decision I could make.
“I wasn’t sure I would see you again,” Julia commented from behind me as she closed her door.
“And I wasn’t planning on it either,” I admitted.
“Then why did you come here?” Julia asked.
It was a reasonable question that I was still trying to answer. I turned back to face Julia. She was standing their looking as beautiful as ever, though this time I noticed the tight fit of her jeans, and slice of cleavage offered by her blouse. More than that thought was the gentle expression on her face, and the softness of her burgundy gaze.
I took a deep breath. “Something happened to me when you removed your imprint from me, Julia,” I explained. “There’s something wrong going on inside my head, and I don’t know what to do about it.” I took another breath. “I need your help, Julia,” I admitted.
