"What do you mean you got grounded?! You've never gotten grounded."
"I stayed out past curfew. And you know how my mom is." I was having a video call with Courtney.
"You disobeyed an order? OMG!! How and when!" She shriked loudly
"I went to a party, Karla invited me and things got so wild, I got sidetracked."
"Hold on, you went to a party? Was it a maths club party?"
"No, a normal party." She shrieked again.
"You're finally learning how to be a normal teenager!" I rolled my eyes.
"I have always been a normal teen."
"Normal teens don't go to maths club parties. Like seriously who does that?"
"It's a club party, and you too were part of the club."
"Yeah the club, but I never went to their parties. They are so lame. Tell me everything that happened."
I told Courtney about what went down at the party, from Kevin's stunt, to me winning the beer pong title and to Shawn's prank and our escape.
"That is the wildest party ever! I'm so jealous. And this Shawn guy seems to be a bad boy. His he cute?" She asked curiously. My cheeks turned bright red. I sorta might have left the part of him being drop-dead gorgeous and dreamy.
'Oh my God what's wrong with me?'
"No freaking way! You're blushing! You're so red! That only means one thing…"
"Shut up, I.. he's ok."
"Uh uh." She didn't look convinced.
"You weren't there to know ok?
"Alright, looks like it's time to talk about the birds and the bees in it's most rawest form"
"Wait what?"
"God he's such an amazing lover! I just want to ride his thick rod so good and let him devour every part of my wet…." She said in a sensual voice.
Stop! No! I'll talk! God please." I cried while covering my ears. She had a victorious smile on her face. 'That witch!'
"Now spill." I knew that If I didn't, she would keep saying those things. And even if I hung up, she'll make sure to send them to me and I'll definitely have a peek at it accidentally.
I knew about the bird and the bees, we've been taught at school. But Courtney was going to say it in it's most explicit form! And my heart could not handle that.
"Ok, he's very handsome! And God, yes I drooled a little, ok! Is that what you wanted to hear?" I exclaimed. The screen went dark but I could hear Courtney giggling and rolling around.
"You like him! You're crushing on him!" She looked thrilled. Her blonde hair became scattered from her tossing around.
Ok, maybe I did feel a little fluttering feeling in my stomach when I was next to him, but it was just a normal effect he had on girls! Karla said the same thing too.
"No, no, no. There is a big difference between seeing a handsome guy and feeling giddy and actually liking him"
"It's the giddy feeling that turns into love little one. I'm a master at this game, don't forget that."
"Yeah, yeah."
"What? You never even noticed that Jake liked you. I was the one who literally caused you two to go on a date."
"Ok, but seriously the party was amazing! I'm really looking forward to schooling there."
"You mean you're looking forward to seeing a certain someone often." She wriggled her eyebrows and I rolled my eyes.
"I don't even know if we're in the same year, and we might not even have clashing classes."
"Someone's getting worried about not seeing her handsome…" I hung up on Courtney. She's seriously going to be mad.
I sighed and rolled out of bed. For some reason, I felt so bored. I've never been the one to feel bored. I mean, this was usually my routine for these past two weeks, rarely going out. But now that I was grounded, I was itching to go out!
Probably it's normal? Or maybe it's because last night I witnessed the fun part of life and I wanted more. So.much.more!
I didn't tell my parents that I was at a party that there was alcohol, although I didn't drink any, or maybe I did by accident? Anyways, I didn't mention attending a party. I seriously don't know how they'll react.
My mom might be happy about it. The only school party I've ever attended was the maths's club party like Courtney said. So going to a party that doesn't involve quizzes and other nerd stuff might make her excited.
But on the other hand, she might not like that the party consisted of alcohol, crazy stunts and hot shirtless boys and naked girls fooling around in a pool! Yep that wouldn't go well with her.
My phone vibrated and I knew that it was from Courtney.
"Hanging up on your best friend isn't nice Em. Do you want me to leave you?"
'Typical Courtney overeating.'
I quickly sent an apology to her and waited for a reply.
"I forgive you, but don't think that'll stop me from teasing you about our hot Shawn."
'Hot Shawn! When did we start calling him that? And Our?!"
For some reason, I felt mad that Courtney said 'Our' She doesn't even know him. But I knew what she meant, but it still didn't sit right with me. He's not her's at all!
'He's not yours either girl, so snap out of it.' My brain told me.
I fooled around my room a little but stopped when I heard the doorbell. I ran to my balcony to see who it was. Funny fact, It was last night I found out that I could see whoever was at the door from here. And the face I saw made my body go tense.
'Shawn! What the hell is he doing here?' I wondered. I stared at the handsome Greek god at the front of my door. Dressed in a simple black shirt and tight fitting jeans, he looked so yummy!
'Did I just say a guy looked yummy! Damn! I'm done for.'
What does he want? For about a minute, I didn't leave my spot but then a figure staring at me brought me back to reality. I saw Shawn gazing at me from below with curled eyebrows. He had an amazed smile on his lips
"Aren't you opening up for me new blood?" His smile was cunning and his gaze sent shivers down my spine.
'Yep, I am really doomed!'
