"Mother im heading out, I will be home around 11:30." . I tell my mother as I enter the living room, hoping to be given the permission for my long absence. "My dear scarlet we have so much to do today, and by what means are u wearing." . firmly grasping the full intent of my predicament. I casually look down at my jeans and my short sleeve shirt that had the quote, "Anything is possible" written in a bold cursive font. "My casual clothes mother." she looked down like she was disappointed "Go change scarlet, and please hurry." she said in a smooth tone "yes mother."

I turned away and with my head held high i fought back tears as I walked gradually to room.
