Annie's POV:
As we arrived at the prestigious Sky Mall, a hub of luxury and sophistication, my pink Ferrari glided into the parking lot, flanked by three sleek black Ferraris, their engines purring softly. I stepped out, surrounded by my entourage of ten bodyguards, a mix of three female and seven male professionals, all impeccably dressed and alert.
With a confident smile, I led the way into the grand entrance of Sky Mall, one of the most esteemed shopping destinations in our country, where opulence and style reign supreme. The marble floors, crystal chandeliers, and lavish storefronts seemed to whisper promises of an unforgettable shopping experience.
Jenny POV
"Let's go shopping today, my treat!" I exclaimed.
Tasha raised an eyebrow. "Okay, but this is unlike you. Did something happen?"
I smiled, feeling a sense of relief wash over me. "Yes, Tom finally paid me back the money he owed me, so I'm feeling flush and want to celebrate!"
Tasha's eyes lit up. "Well, in that case, let's go to Sky Mall! It's one of the most famous and luxurious malls in the city."
I nodded enthusiastically. "Sounds perfect! Let's go!"
Tasha and I set out for Sky Mall, catching a taxi on the corner of our street. We hopped in, giving the driver the address, and settled in for the ride. As we made our way through the city streets, we chatted excitedly about our shopping plans. We passed by sleek skyscrapers, high-end boutiques, and trendy restaurants, the sights and sounds of the city's upscale scene filling the air.
After a 20-minute ride, the taxi pulled up in front of Sky Mall, a luxurious shopping destination known for its designer flagships, upscale department stores, and upscale dining options. We paid the fare and stepped out, joining the fashionable crowd flowing into the mall. With a sense of excitement, we pushed through the gleaming glass doors and entered the opulent world of Sky Mall, ready to indulge in a day of luxury shopping and pampering
As we entered the opulent Sky Mall, we were immediately enveloped in a world of luxury and sophistication. The sleek marble floors, crystal chandeliers, and rows of designer boutiques seemed to stretch on forever. We made our way to the women's clothing area, our eyes widening as we took in the treasure trove of high-end fashion before us.
"Wow, look at this place!" Tasha breathed, her eyes shining with excitement. "I've never seen so many designer brands in one place!"
"I know, right?" I replied, running my fingers over the intricate details of a nearby gown. "I feel like we're in a different world or something."
We strolled through the aisles, taking our time to admire the exquisite garments on display. I stopped in front of a stunning black off-shoulder dress, its delicate lace and satin fabric gleaming in the soft light.
"Oh my gosh, look at this one!" I exclaimed, holding up the dress for Tasha to see. "Isn't it gorgeous?"
Tasha nodded enthusiastically. "It's beautiful! You should try it on!"
I hesitated for a moment before checking the price tag. My eyes widened in shock as I saw the price - a staggering $5,000. I couldn't believe it.
"Tasha, look at this price tag," I whispered, showing it to her. "It's so expensive!"
Tasha's eyes widened in surprise. "Whoa, that is crazy! But you have to try it on, just for fun!"
I reluctantly agreed, but as I looked at the other dresses, I saw that they were even more expensive, with price tags ranging from $10,000 to $20,000. I knew I couldn't afford any of them.
Just then, Tasha emerged from the dressing room, looking radiant in a red gown with spaghetti straps. "Wow, it's beautiful, Tasha!" I exclaimed. "You look stunning!"
Tasha beamed with pride. "Thanks! What about you? Find anything you like?"
I sighed, feeling a pang of disappointment. "I found a beautiful black dress, but it's way out of my budget. I don't think I can afford anything here."
Tasha's face fell in understanding. "Aww, that's too bad. But we can still look around and have fun, right?"
Just as we were about to leave, a mysterious woman appeared, wearing a mask and flanked by men and women in black suits. "I'll pay for the clothes you two choose," she said with a smile, her voice dripping with generosity.
Annie POV:
As I browsed through the racks of clothes, my eyes landed on a familiar face - the girl who had saved me earlier. She was standing a short distance away, gazing longingly at a black dress before ultimately deciding to leave it behind. Her attention shifted to her friend, and they struck up a conversation. I couldn't help but overhear their exchange, so I decided to pay for them.
Jenny POV:
As I browsed through the racks of clothes with Tasha, my ears perked up when I heard a gentle voice behind me say, "I'll pay for the clothes you two buy." I turned around, surprised by the unexpected offer, and saw a lady wearing a elegant black mask that covered her nose and mouth. She smiled warmly, her eyes sparkling with kindness.
"Ma, please, no need," I said, feeling a mix of gratitude and embarrassment. "We could pay for ourselves."
The lady chuckled and corrected me, "I'm not 'Ma.' I'm Lisa. And I insist on treating you two to the clothes you like." Her mask glinted in the soft light of the store, adding an air of mystery to her already intriguing presence.
Tasha's eyes widened in excitement as she started picking out clothes. "Wow, this is indeed our lucky day!" she exclaimed.
I opted for only the black dress I had been eyeing, while Tasha, on the other hand, had amassed a sizable collection. "Tasha, what the hell did you take?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.
She shrugged nonchalantly. "The clothes I like, duh."
As we made our way to the checkout counter, Lisa settled the bill for us. I approached her, feeling grateful but also slightly uneasy. "Thanks, Lisa, but can I at least pay for my friend? She took more clothes than I expected."
Lisa waved her hand dismissively. "You don't have to. I'm just doing it because of what you did."
I was taken aback. "What did I do?"
Lisa smiled enigmatically. "I'll tell you if you meet me at Taiwan Chinese restaurant by 2 pm tomorrow."
With that, she turned and left, leaving me standing there feeling perplexed. I joined Tasha, and we headed home, still buzzing from our unexpected shopping spree.
As we settled into the couch, Tasha turned to me and said, "I couldn't believe you only bought that one dress, Jenny. You really disappointed me."
I rolled my eyes good-naturedly. "So you want me to buy the whole world, right?"
Tasha nodded unapologetically. "We don't have clothes like that, and seeing an opportunity like this, I won't miss it. Neither should you."
I sighed, still feeling a bit uneasy about the whole experience. "Fine, but for me, I'd rather not do what you did."
With that, I retreated to my room, my mind still reeling from the events of the day.
