Chapter 29 The Ex-wife Is Also My Wife

Renata and Collin sat opposite each other and concentrated on their own dinner without communication. Then they each paid the bill and parted ways.

After returning home, Renata took a shower and went to bed. She didn't care whether what happened tonight would make waves in Riverham City. Since Collin wanted a share of the cake, Renata could make him a scapegoat if something happened.

The next day, after a sound sleep, Renata woke up to see the message Xzavier sent her two hours ago: [Jack invites you to meet him at seven tonight.]

Renata was calm. It was as expected.

At seven in the evening, Renata arrived at a private club exclusively for officials' activities on invitation. When Renata got off the car, she saw Collin, who had also just arrived.

Collin greeted first, "Renata."

Renata replied, "Collin."

They walked in together. It was hard to say whether they got along well with each other or not from onlookers.
