Resumen

Do you believe the place where lost souls in the human realm go? I believed that kind of tale when I was young. The old used to call it Limbo, some called it Knowhere, and a peculiar name caught my attention, Lost. It's a border between the human realm and the afterlife or who knows where. It's a place where lingering spirits rest and impurities resides. An old rumor once said, Lost is somewhat familiar with what is in the human realm is, It was a paradise, and every time we sleep, our souls go there and explore. Have fun. But is it really? Lies! Rumors are just rumors after all. Lost is not a Paradise. It's a dimension of places, similar but different to what is the human world we live in. Paradise? To the souls yes, but to a human flesh body and mind? Hell No. ... A human was transported there with body and soul. "What is going on?! Where am I? Someone--Help. I still want to live." Getting to see what kind of place Lost is about... The poor souls decide... (("I don't know where I am but... I hate to be in this pitiful situation. I must find a way!"))

Chapter 1Van at Sea?

Hi, I'm Kaim, I work as a flower arranger at a shop near the town square. Today is my first day as an apprentice. I am a Freshmen in college. I once had a job at the convenience store but got fired by some customer misunderstanding, if only people are nice I would have kicked out. Sigh-- how unlucky that job has free meals, and finding this new one is a tough one. The life of being poor is worse.

I look at my watch. "Ah! I'm late! Why is there traffic!" I got off and ran to my workplace, but before I got there-- "Huh?" I was suddenly got dragged by kidnappers, "Ah!!! Help!!" I shout while a man dragging me towards a van. "Sir! This is a misunderstanding, I am poor--" before I could finish my sentence, I felt something wet on the wall of the van. "Blood?" I took a look at the kidnapers and they were covered in red fluid. I couldn't move as a man reached for me. I crawl back and stumbled upon boxes that were overflowing with red fluid. "Stay still," he said with a deep voice, he then searches me from head to toe, they got my phone, my wallet, necklace, and even my shoes.

Getting tie in the corner, I saw another captive tied with so many ropes that I cant see her breathing. "What is going to happen to me," I thought to myself with different kinds of scenarios flashing to my head. They took a turn and stopped, the van door and kick me out. I felt my heart stopped for a second when a strong kicked hit me at the back and shuttled out with my eyes closed.

I opened my eyes with the pain in the back, and notice that I was in a different place. I can not see anything, just water as far as I can see. "What is going on?" I was confused about everything and tried to stand. "Hello?" I shouted as my voice echoed into a limbo. I walked around and slipped into nothing and fall into nothingness. "Ahhhh!!!!" (Thud*)

I opened my eyes and landed on a bench. "Ah, my back--" I looked again and found myself at the place I got off to when I was stuck in traffic. "Huh? Isn't this the town square?" I wondered stupidly as I notice there was nothing, no cars, busy city noises, and people. Just empty. "Huh?"

I stood up with my back aching and started searching for help. "Hello? Is somebody here? Can anyone hear me? Hello?" I ran to my workplace just a block away and to my surprise, it was just space. "W-what is going on?"

"DING_DONG! DING_DONG!" the sound of the cathedral bell echoed. "Huh? But I was just 10:00 am?" [The cathedral bell rings every twelve noon] "What in the world is going on?!" I shouted.

"Sigh--" I sat down a bench near the empty street. "Ugh, what is going on exactly. My head hurts from all this, my back hurts from the kick and the fall, and even my feet hurt from all this walking around barefooted.

I tilled my head up and notice my self at a glass window behind me. "Pfft, I'm a mess." fixed myself in front and give another try to find help. "First I need to find somebody. I must not give up. If only my house is near the city center I could go home. Yosh!" off to that direction." I headed toward the busiest area, 'which was' the busiest area.

Walking, I felt a chill and get that someone was watching me. "This-- I had a bad feeling about this." I ran off subconsciously and ran off to an alley I am not familiar with. "Ahh!! I'm doomed. This is the end." I thought and looked back. "Huh? No one?" I turned back and saw a man hanging a sign. "Finally someone!"

"Excuse me. Please help." The man looked at me. "What is it." with a disgusted look on his face. "Ah, he must think of me like a peasant with my getup." I thought to myself. "I don't know where am I and what in the world is going on." He changed his look and invited me in. I went inside his shop and sat down. "who are you?" he asked and walk to the counter kitchen. "I-I--" before I found say anything Isaw hi pulled up a wooden box and flashes from the bloody van kicked in my thought. I felt nervous. And said, "Mister, do you know where to find transportation? I really want to go home." He frowned and grabbed something. "U-umm, Mister?"

A knife flew towards me cutting my hair in the sides. I was so shocked and fell from the chair. "I said what is your name?" He asked walking towards me. I looked at the door and he pulled my hair grabbing my neck. "Ah, I thought of you as a poor peasant, but you are just somehow covered with dirt. I haven't eaten since a week ago. When the last young maiden faithfully wondered to my shop." "T-this guy is a freak!" I thought to myself while giving my all to get loose of his grip. "Ah~ don't look at me like that, I promise you, I'll make you a fine delicacy to honor your life."

I was about to lose my strength and grabbed a bottle and slammed it to him. He lost his gripped and I ran out. "Oh, God! Oh, God." I repeated to myself As I ran away with all my might. I looked back and he was chasing me like a lion chasing his sure meal.

I went to a street I know of and lose him at the shop corners. "I'm gonna die, I'm gonna die, I am gonna die!" He walks past the corner a hid saying, "Come out! I know you couldn't run that far! Let's just end this, I am doing you a favor you know? I get a meal, you get out from this pain called life, It's a win-win! Stop playing!"

His voice was getting lower and lower, "Is he gone?" I peak to see.

"Hi~"

...

I was given a heart attack by a mouse that walk pass by. I then let out a sigh of relief.

...

"Huh? Not here? I thought I saw her ran here, well might as well start looking."

I get out of the shopping street and head to the center. "I must hurry and find authority, I must have done that before all of this! Ahh, why am I so dumb" I said to myself while I ran for my life. "I still have many things I did not do, I must live!"

Say hello to Sonia and Bryan. Sonia's heart stopped beating for a second, and then different thoughts started flying right through her head at that same time. Bryan Hank? Her celebrity crush was kneeling right in front of her and asking her to be his wife? Was he mistaking her for someone? Was it possible this was a skit, or maybe this was like one of those celebrity pranks, and there were cameras around, waiting to capture her make a fool of herself? Or perhaps she was dreaming? Sonia wondered as she looked around them, but all she saw were curious onlookers. "Please! Be my wife and make me the happiest man on Earth," He said in a very loud voice that caught the attention of everyone. Her editor who she had been waiting on for over an hour because he was trying to sign a deal with a movie producer who was interested in one of her stories, showed up at that moment, "Sonia, you know Bryan Hank?" Her editor asked in genuine surprise as he watched the scene before him. It seemed like an hour had passed since Bryan went on his knees, but it had only been a minute. Bryan knew no lady would be crazy enough to accept such a crazy proposal, and even if any were, paying her off and calling off the whole thing would be easy since all he wanted was the scandal that could come from this. The headlines were either going to be about his rejected Marriage proposal or his supposed engagement, which would be enough to let Sophia off the hook. "Yes!" Sonia said as she bobbed her head excitedly and extended her finger for him to wear her the ring. "Yes?" Bryan asked in confusion when he heard her response. "Yes! I will be your wife and make you the happiest man in the world!" Sonia said with a giggle and wiggled her fingers until Bryan slid the ring down her finger. Surprisingly the ring was her exact size, and it sat on her finger like it was made just for her. The sound of applause erupted all around them as Sonia stood up with a big smile on her face and embraced Bryan before kissing him right on the lips. Bryan was slightly taken aback by her boldness but quickly recovered since this was his game, and he had to play along. He was the one who had approached her first, after all. So when she tried to break the kiss, he held her chin and slowly nibbled on her lower lip before parting her lips with his tongue and sucked on it in a teasing manner, eliciting a moan from Sonia. Sonia felt light-headed. This was too good to be true. It just had to be a dream. How else could she explain that one moment she was seated at the lobby of a hotel waiting for her editor, and the next she was engaged to her celebrity crush and was kissing him right here in the open?
