Safety or Danger?

We exited the elevator and I ran as fast as I could back to the school. I didn't know what else to do. I ran to Harold for help. Luckily he was in his office. He seemed to be barking orders on the phone. He seemed very distressed. The look of shock on his face when I came busting through the doors with a passed-out Linda said it all. "Where have you been and so you're the one who took her?" I shook my head in disbelief. "No, She was in this lab of my father's with a bunch of other creatures that I'm not sure what they are. I saved her from whatever he was planning to do to them all. I need your help and I know it must sound crazy to you seeing as you believe my father to be dead. But I swear I am telling the truth, Harold." He took in everything I said and nodded. Like it was just another day for him. "I understand Lupus, there are some things you don't quite understand. I know your father is alive. You weren't supposed to find out just yet. You and Liam were supposed to be in the same room when we told you." I looked at him confused as to just what he was getting at. "Liam is your cousin Lupus and I am your father's brother otherwise known as your uncle. But that aside, what your father has done is unacceptable. I have been looking all over for her. I thought the worst could of happened and clearly it has. Tell me everything your father showed you and just where she was. She doesn't look too well." I had a mixture of emotions and thoughts going through my head about this news. Just how many more secrets am I to learn? But I couldn't focus on that right now. I had to help Linda. I did the best I could to recap the events leading up to this moment with Harold. He listened intently to every word I said. "I see. Leave her here with me Lupus and go up to your room and pretend like you went to bed. Act as if you know nothing about this. I will take care of her and handle this properly but for your own sake please do not let your father know you know anything about this. Do you understand me?" I nodded. "yes but I want to help. I want to make sure she gets better. I can't just abandon her. And what are you going to do about all those creatures?" I asked not wanting to leave the room. " Lupus I will handle it. I Have everything under control. Now please go! Hurry! Who knows when he will return. I reluctantly left the room as Linda lay unconscious on the seat and Harold began barking orders on the phone again. I had an uneasy feeling about all of this but I had to do what he said. It was best if my father didn't know I was involved. Right?
