Jack Herondalein

Just what the hell was I waiting for I'm Jack freaking Herondalein. I don't hide from danger. I grabbed the nearest weapon and jumped out from my hiding spot. "Freeze!" Okay, maybe that wasn't the smartest thing to say. But what was in front of me was a giant dog. They stood and growled at me. It was ready for a fight. We circled each other. Waiting for the other to attack. I'm not sure I'll be able to take whatever this thing is but I have to try. It seemed to be sizing me up and then it stopped. So I did too. Keeping my guard up. Then it turned into a woman. "What the hell!" I exclaimed. She seemed amused by my reaction. "Calm down child. Put the weapon down. I'm not going to hurt you. Maybe we can help each other." I stood still holding my weapon at the ready. "I'm not an idiot, the second I let my guard down you attack." She laughed at me. Fucking hell. "I don't see what's so funny." She stopped still smirking like she couldn't contain herself. "I'm sorry it's just your so young and naive. You remind me of my daughter. You wouldn't happen to have seen her, would you? She's younger than you appear to be. She goes by the name Alessia." I slowly lowered my weapon still unsure of her intentions. She did seem concerned bout this Alessia character, however. "I haven't seen anyone and heard nothing of this girl you speak of." She nodded. "Okay well, thanks for the intel. As promised I'll help you. Anything you need I'll do my best to help. I thought it over. I did need help moving these supplies but I don't know if I should trust her. Then again, Lucas and Joey could help. Three-on-one was better odds of winning this fight. 

I looked at the pile of supplies I had already gathered and then back at her. "Help me move this stuff from here to my bunker and then we're even. And don't try anything funny. Then once it's all there our deal is done and we go our separate ways okay?" I said. She looked at it and nodded. "No problem, youngin. I got it. This all you need or is there more?" I showed her what was necessary. We gathered all the supplies and I led the way to the cabin keeping an eye on her the whole time. She was watching me too and we both were keeping an eye out for Fepetaineshadows. I made sure to tell her bout those and to keep the noise down while we traveled. She seemed so understanding about it all. It seemed too easy and nice of her to just go along with everything. I didn't trust it at all. When we reached the door I told her to wait. That I would head in first. I wanted to warn Lucas and Joey about the woman before she could bring everything in. I had placed everything I was carrying outside and left some of it to hold the door open for when I came back. When I opened the door though. What I saw was a huge surprise. Joey was standing there kissing a girl I had never seen before. I heard the woman gasp from behind me and the sound of what I assumed was her dropping everything. She was beside me in seconds. "Alessia. Get your hands off my daughter right now." She growled and turned towards me. "You lied to me. You've been holding my daughter captive haven't you." The fury in her eyes was terrifying and unbelievable. I barely uttered the words no when suddenly everything went black. Then there was this tunnel of light beckoning me to come closer and I did.
