Chapter 22 Trouble

Following Cathy out, Jenny listened to her as she explained the way the college ran, from the most famous foods and high end restaurants to the good looking ladies and cool guys around campus to the most annoying lecturers. Cathy's opinion of everyone and everything was so intriguing that Jenny wanted to see and meet it all.

"....so this is the cafeteria and your gonna love everything they prepare here! And oh, a secret, it's run by my mom." She whispered with a giggle. Jenny's first impression of Cathy being an introvert died the moment she came to know she's quite a blubber mouth, which was okay at the least.

Cathy seemed to be an introvert but once she was comfortable around that person, she'd talk till sunrise if given a chance.

Learning about her little secret, Jenny followed her from behind as she led the way to make the queue. Looking around, she noticed that a number of eyes were on her, although she was used to it, it felt a little uncomfortable this time round. Being a lady who could put international models to shame, being thick and thin in the right places and her etheal beauty with a flawless skin, she made heads turn wherever she walked past by leaving girls green in envy and men drooling senseless. Collecting her breakfast, she went and found an empty seat, "I hate the attention." she mumbled as she swayed her luscious body which was innocent and seductively tempting as well.

Cathy who trailing behind her almost dug a tunnel to go through in order to avoid the attention they were receiving. "Jenny, this is....."

"I know, very uncomfortable!!" She rolled her eyes in annoyance, if only she was a normal looking girl!!

Settling in their seats, Cathy dove her head into her meals and whispered confused. "How do you manage? I mean, your so beautiful and all.....people must have looked at you everywhere you went so how is it uncomfortable for you?!"

"I won't eat from this place again." Jenny declared with resolution as she forked her meal to feed her baby.

Soon, the whole cafeteria erupted from squeals of excitement from the girls. This drew quite some attention as everyone looked that way excluding Jenny who continued to enjoy her meal.

"Oh heaven it's Jerome!!" a girl squealed like a hunted rabbit.

"I know, right!!"

"How come he's here to dine in our humble cafeteria today?" Another asked her colleague who presumably didn't hear her question as she drooled in an unladylike manner.

"Atleast I look presentable. He'll definitely notice me somehow" another spoke with a dream like expectation.

"Dream on!!"

They giggled.

A young man with chocolate brown hair and deep blue amber eyes dressed in simple jean pants that hugged his firm thighs constricting with each step he took and a white t-shirt that articulated his sexy taunt chest and arm muscles walked in and behind him were two other young men of the same build who were equally attractive but not to the guy at the front. A girl strolled along with them looking all smug with her nose held high with all the attention she thought she was getting forgetting she was a forgotten case in the presence of the dominant male species she hanged around with. Scanning the cafeteria, the guy at the front, Jerome had his attention caught by a food monster who seemed to have not eaten in a millenia and without thinking twice, he walked up to her seat and made himself comfortable with out having been invited.

His cold expressionless face held a hint of amusement as he looked at the angel before him who literally didn't acknowledge his presence which was a first in his entire life. Slowly, her heap of breakfast which was enough for around three people detoriated drastically. At first he was amused but with only scrabs left, he had a stupified expression and he literally looke funny. The girl that had come along with him was glaring daggers at Jenny who was intentionally being oblivious of her surroundings!

Wiping her mouth satisfactorily, Jenny sighed and held back a burp as she was in public and turned to look at Cathy who seemed to have frozen. "What...?!!!" She voiced her confusion and followed her line of sight and seeing a young, handsome man looking at her with a funny expression on his face. She did her best to avoid rolling her eyes at him, only to look at him indifferently. 'He is not as handsome as Jason!!' she thought and immediately smacked her forehead internally. So much for that iceberg!!!

Ignorng him, she looked at Cathy. "Hope your done with your breakfast!" Jenny spoke looking at the frozen Cathy. Snapping back to her senses, she stood up Immediately and followed stiffly behind her like a little pup with a bowed head leaving a livid Jerome. "I don't like submissive women." she spoke sternly, Cathy's attitude triggered something sinister in her. "If your planning on lowering your head for anyone, I'll have to reconsider our friendship."

"Do you know who he is?" Cathy asked with a frown on her head.

"What or who he is, is none of my business and that doesn't call for that behaviour you showcase before him. Be it fear or respect, he must earn it..not because others say what he portrays himself to be... arrggghh why am I even speaking alot?"

"Jenny I understand your point but it's better not to invite trouble to one's self and that guy, HE is TROUBLE!!!" Cathy spoke with caution.

"Well Cathy, I give back twice what I receive and if you think he is trouble...then you should stay away from me to be safe. I invite TROUBLE everywhere I go." Jenny didn't speak anymore and strolled off not bothering with Cathy.

Whatever, it's not like she longed for a companion and she could survive well on her own, she thought Cathy could be different but she was utterly disappointed hence she strolled back to the lecture room to do what brought her to college.

The rest of the day went away in a blur and it was soon time to head out. Swinging her bag to her back she strode out leaving a down spirited Cathy who looked at her with pouted lips then followed behind. Reaching outside, Jenny was greeted with a pensive looking Jerome.

"Hello!" he greeted.

Jenny ignored him and walked past him only to feel a firm tag at her arm before being pulled back, coming face to face with him. "So much for ignoring me Jenny!"

"Do I know you?" she spoke expressionlessly with a no interest attitude.

"No you don't but I...."

She cut him off. "Then let go smart boy. I believe you still want yourself intact!"

"Ha, fiesty one!" he replied with a smirk only to loose it immediately when he didn't notice when she slipped from his grip.

"I'm going to make you mine!" He spoke to himself as he watched her firm ass sway side to side temptingly.

At the side of the school premises stood a youngman who looked like he could explode any minute, muscles bulging on his forehead in a bid to prevent himself from snapping after watching the interaction between Jenny and Jerome. He had mentally put a leash on himself to prevent chocking the brat to death. "Don't provoke!!" he spat through gritted teeth.

You can't cast threats from the bushes, it looks stupid! A mocking voice rang out from behind him which was followed by a painful groan as the youngman who mocked him fell to the ground clutching his future for dear life.
