Chapter 6: I'm A lord??

By the time the senior was reading out my data, She had a strange expression on her face. At first, her expression was that of surprise but it turned into pity by the time she completed reading my data as I was the only awakened that neither had attribute nor talent.

Even the worst awakened lord had certain attributes and a talent when awakening.

Looking at my confused expression, the pity on her face intensified as she tried to console me.

I only thanked her for her attempt to console me before hurriedly running down from the stage.

" Sigh... Is he lucky or unlucky to awaken as lord but without any talent and attribute?"

" Yup... Even those who didn't awaken this time have two more chances to awaken themselves but the lord without attribute and talent isn't better than some normal people in terms of strength at the start."

"He must be something else to awaken without any attribute and talent. His future is already bleak as every lord has to go to the front and support the federation as per their attribute when needed. Having neither attribute nor talent will definitely make him the worthless lord around. "

Regarding the comments from the students around me, I didn't feel sad or anything like that as I wasn't even listening to them in the first place.

My whole concentration was on the information presented in front of me. The information presented in front of me was the Stats, the quantified data about me presented by the Spatial Flare in the environment. Only awakened lords were able to look at the quantified data about themselves.

Looking at my stats which were exactly the same except for the talent that was different from the ones shown by the Awakening crystal, I was speechless yet excited at the same time. 

I was excited by looking at "Unique" besides my talent as it coincided with several novels that had its MC obtain unique qualities making them OP in the future."Yup, I was an avid fan of novels that dealt with OP MC with unique traits."

" Did they mistake my talent or...?"

I wanted to raise questions regarding my talent but looking at the (unique) written beside it, I pursued my lips before stopping myself from questioning the dean standing on the stage. He still had his eyes closed.

" Was my decision good or bad??!!.. The future would show.?"

Also, I didn't try to probe for more information than the ones already provided to me as I wasn't in a hurry to explore my area inside the lord's space. The stats that I was presented with, especially my talent was more than enough to tell me that I was able to awaken as a special lord since there was no record of anyone having Unique talent till now.

The known level of talent ranged from F being the lowest whole to S being the highest as per the information provided to us by schools.

Every special thing must be savored while taking time, and I was also going to take time to explore my lord space while studying various stats that I had.

I was especially intrigued by my (unique) Talent as I didn't have any talent or attributes as per the information shown by the awakening crystal earlier.

"Unique talent, It wasn't even recorded or talked about by anyone till now..!"

The commotion brought by my awakening subsided as fast as it started. By the time the next batch of students was called by the seniors, everyone had their focus on the students who were going to try and awaken for the first time.

This batch of students was unlucky as none of the six people were able to tap into the flare within them and awaken as lords.

It took two more hours before the Awakening ceremony was concluded with a speech from the Dean.

Well....,

"The Awakening ceremony is hence concluded." It was all he spoke before closing his eyes and standing on the stage.

Only about thirty students were able to tap into the flare before awakening themselves making the dean who was standing still the whole time shake his head in pity.

Most of them had awakened attributes that could only be used to support the other powerful lords like farmers, blacksmiths, etc.

'If only the potential or talent they had awakened were decent enough." He once again sighed.

" What a batch... Only thirty students were able to awaken among 3000 total students." He thought to himself.

Someone like Sumit without any talent and Attributes was already out of his mind somewhere in the vast space. He was special but in a negative way for the dean to remember him. For those who weren't even able to awaken as lords, they weren't even considered anything by the dean.

His main focus was on three students who were worthy of nurturing from the school. Looking at those three students who were surrounded by everyone, he was satisfied, making him smile.

First was Raju Smith, The first student to awaken with tier-3 potential, combat attribute, and B-level talent. He belonged to an ordinary family just like me.

Second was Troy, The one who had consumed the lord's awakening serum. He awakened tier-3 potential, fire attribute with B-level talent. He was a scion of one of the powerful families within the city. His potential definitely was affected by the Lord's Awakening Serum he had consumed.

The last one was Ruby, She was also someone with a powerful background being the princess of the one of the most powerful family in the city. She awakened Tier-4 potential, Fire attribute with B-class talent. The highest potential and Talent in this batch.

Well, there was nothing to do after completion of the Awakening ceremony except the short speech by the senior, Stuart regarding the classes for the second year and the lord card provided to the awakened ones.

Our classes would start after a month while the card would be provided to every awakened by this week.

I just loved the fact we students did not have to come to the school to collect the Lord's card distributed to us by the Federation. It would be delivered to our house when our cards were manufactured by the federation according to the data collected from the ceremony today.

It was already night by the time we reached home. My dad was delighted as I became the first person in our lineage to become the lord.

My mother was waiting for us on the doorstep when we reached our place. Looking at her anxious face, she definitely was worried about my awakening today.

Only after my father happily told her about me being able to awaken my lord space did she smile. I was mesmerized by her smile and my dad, he was drooling while looking at her.

Our family of three happily entered the house. My father was busy calling our relatives while my mother was busy cooking delicious meals in the kitchen.

Another bottle of champagne was emptied by my dad. He emptied the bottle all by himself, his face rosy and he was perspiring by the last gulp of the bottle. I also took a glass of champagne while my mother was smiling the whole time.

By the time we completed our dinner and did the household chores, it was already midnight. My father was slumped on the sofa with a smile plastered on his face. He was murmuring something but we couldn't even listen to his words lest understand them.

So, I helped my mother take him to their bedroom before returning to my bed.

Today was something. Even as an awakened I was tired so I fell asleep just after falling into my bed. I had a beautiful dream tonight but I won't tell you about the dream I had.
