Lord of the Celestial Throne

His fate was predetermined: fight, defend, and perish with the stars, a mere cog in the great machinery of creation. But something within him resisted this cruel fate. A seed of defiance sprouted in his heart, whispering of freedom. He sought a way to transcend the cosmic chains—to escape, to defy destiny, to seize freedom at any cost. As a mortal, he felt the agony of watching his loved ones wither and die, powerless to stop the decay of time. He wept for children, lovers, friends. As an emperor, he conquered kingdoms and wielded unimaginable power, only to be betrayed by those he trusted most, dragged from his throne, and executed in shame. As a beggar, he wandered the streets, starving and shivering under the cold gaze of uncaring gods. As a villain, he became the monster in stories told to frighten children—burning cities, drowning nations in blood, only to be hunted and killed by the heroes of those same tales. As a saint, he gave everything—his wealth, his strength, his life—to others, only to discover that gratitude was fleeting and the world did not remember the sacrifices of the righteous. But, Every failure, every death, every betrayal—they were nothing but steps on a long, infinite path. And the path had only one direction: up, through the layers of existence, through the fabric of reality itself. No prison could contain him. No curse could hold him. His heart whispered one thing to him, a truth carved into his soul:Move forward. Always forward. Because he was Li Shenrong—the Lord of the Celestial Throne.

Tang yun’s resolve 2.

Li shenrong looked at tang yun's distressed figure not too far away. Then his gaze

fell upon the huge python.

' This snake is only fifteen years old but already formed a beast core. It must have

devoured some kind of special grass or plant.'

" Why are you here! Run away hurry! Quick it'll catch up." Tang yun panicked as she

shouted at him.

Even though both of them knew each other for a short time. She doesn't want him to die like this. She felt a bit guilty in her heart.

Li shenrong's footstep didn't stop, he kept approaching unhurried. The python

stopped not too far away and looked at both of them with its vertical pupil playfully. It wanted to see its prey facing despair before eating them. In its eyes both of them were nothing but food.

"This python is no ordinary beast, thirty of our village's martial warrior died. Uncle mo who was a seventh level martial warrior and village chief who was a ninth level martial warrior was eaten alive. I know you want to help but we stand no chance against it.

Sigh, li shenrong I appreciate your willingness to stand with me and fight from the bottom of my heart but there's no reason to risk your life. Run away, I will stop it so it doesn't chase you." Tang yun spoke in a low voice trying to dissuade him sincerely.

" It's alright. Just watch carefully." Li shenrong approved of her character in his

heart so he wasn't willing to let her die like this.

Tang yun wanted to say more but when she looked at his calm demeanor she felt a

little bit hopeful.

He is from the faraway city. What if he really does have something that could save

us. Probably something related to those powerful immortals. She looked at his

wide back hopefully.

Li shenrong's unhurried steps took him in front of the huge python. It looked down

on him from above and hissed, sending out sonic waves.

Tang yun look at him nervously, her hand clenched into a fist.

When the python saw no reaction from li shenrong, it felt  humiliation and flew into rage. Its huge body moved and swayed its tail, directly slamming against li shenrong.

Tang yun screamed from afar in panic, she felt at a loss.

Dust and smoke vanished slowly faded and li shenrongs body appeared again.

Tang yun's eyes widened in surprise. She looked at his  figure unmoving and unscathed. Not even tainted by a spec of dust. She thought he would turn into a meat paste. On the contrary, he withstood such shocking attack and didn't even flinch. It made her astonished to the extreme.

' Is he a ninth level martial warrior! No, it

can't be. This snake is no ordinary beast how could a ninth level martial warrior be its match. Is he a legendary immortal? ' All kind of thoughts clashed inside her mind.

Li shenrong cultivates a godly physique, and a half completion godly physique was

terrifying. So even without circulating his cultivation base withstanding attack of this level was a piece of cake for him.

The python saw li shenrong was unharmed and it was enraged even more as if saying'

lowly human! How dare you to not die after taking an attack from me.'

Li shenrong pulled out his sword and dodged. He avoided each attacks narrowly from hair's breadth. His gaze was tranquil and deep.

The python fiercely swinged its tail at full

force but it was unable to land a hit. It tried to bite his whole body into half but missed every time. Wind blew as dust and debris flung everywhere.

Li shenrong slashed his sword, with each sword slash a chunk of meat flew out.

His movements were swift and with precise strike he tore through the pythons hard scales.

With his strength it wasn't hard at all to deal with a beast of this level. He just wanted to make a stir inside tang yun's heart. A sort of desire toward strength which could motivate her to move forward.

Blood flowed continuously from the pythons large body and splashing on the ground.

Finally, it felt fear toward the prey it looked down on. Its eyes showed terror and wanted to flee.

Tang yun, spectating this battle from not far away was utterly amazed.

She thought he'd use some kind of special means to deal with the beast but never in

her wildest imagination she expected him to be so strong.

' So this is the strength of an immortal!' Her eyes shined brightly. A beast which

slaughtered every martial warrior from her village was now fleeing in panic.

" Lend me the bow. " Li shenrong stretched out his hand toward her while looking at the fleeing python as it wriggled its huge body through the forest.

Tang yun threw the bow at him and saw him pulling the bowstring without an arrow.

She was a bit confused.

But suddenly she saw blue light materialising in the form of an arrow.

'Swoosh'

The blue energy arrow pierced through the air and instantly arrived above the

pythons head. Its hard skull was penetrated completely.

The python died with a hiss sound full of unwillingness.
