Lord of the Celestial Throne

His fate was predetermined: fight, defend, and perish with the stars, a mere cog in the great machinery of creation. But something within him resisted this cruel fate. A seed of defiance sprouted in his heart, whispering of freedom. He sought a way to transcend the cosmic chains—to escape, to defy destiny, to seize freedom at any cost. As a mortal, he felt the agony of watching his loved ones wither and die, powerless to stop the decay of time. He wept for children, lovers, friends. As an emperor, he conquered kingdoms and wielded unimaginable power, only to be betrayed by those he trusted most, dragged from his throne, and executed in shame. As a beggar, he wandered the streets, starving and shivering under the cold gaze of uncaring gods. As a villain, he became the monster in stories told to frighten children—burning cities, drowning nations in blood, only to be hunted and killed by the heroes of those same tales. As a saint, he gave everything—his wealth, his strength, his life—to others, only to discover that gratitude was fleeting and the world did not remember the sacrifices of the righteous. But, Every failure, every death, every betrayal—they were nothing but steps on a long, infinite path. And the path had only one direction: up, through the layers of existence, through the fabric of reality itself. No prison could contain him. No curse could hold him. His heart whispered one thing to him, a truth carved into his soul:Move forward. Always forward. Because he was Li Shenrong—the Lord of the Celestial Throne.

Just a mortal.

His voice echoed throughout the mountain range for thousands of disciple and elders to hear.

His tone carried a strange rhyme breaking the formation with a loud sound which had sealed the whole locust sect.

The young man slowly put pressure on his grip.

With a splash sound the sea gods head burst out like watermelon.

The sea god of a whole generation died just like that.

Dark clouds gathered with roaring thunder, drizzling rain started pouring confirming the death of a sea god.

The young man raised his head slowly and looked at the sky. He opened his mouth and uttered quietly.

"Go away."

His voice resonated with the worlds dao and each of his word carried daw laws. Golden chains flew out to the sky unobservable by the naked eye.

The rain and thunder stopped swiftly as the sky turned bright and sunny.

To jessi and the others it was mystical and magical. With just one word he commanded the sky on his whim.

"Just who are you?" Jessi blurted out her inner thoughts loudly.

"Me? I am just a mortal. Call me Li Shenrong." He smiled and introduced.

"Are you a supreme emperor who has revived?" Jessi asked with anticipation.

Li shenrong smiled as he shook his head.

'Even if he is not an emperor but surely he isn't that far off from being am emperor. A pseudo emperor probably?'

Jessy speculated inwardly.

All the disciple and elders of Plain locust sect cheered excitedly. Their eyes was full of reverence toward li shenrong. But some elders couldn't help but worry for the sect leader because her injuries looked extremely hideous.

If she were do die or her cultivation starts to drop then locust sect will go into decline. No one was strong enough to hold the reign for her.

"Your sect master suffered a dao injury." Li shenrong suddenly spoke out to one of the elder.

The elders panicked because a dao injury was almost impossible to heal sometime it might take more than hundreds of years to heal. Suffering from dao injury at such young age was detrimental to her future cultivation prospect.

"Can our master be healed?" A disciple spoke out.

"Looking at her current condition, it is not possible to heal anymore. Even if it can be healed through special means the resources we need will be an astronomical amount. Although our sect is not afraid of the cost but there are such rare medicinal herbs which can only be found inside those forbidden grounds. We do not have strength nor the ability to gather them." An elder sighed in pity as he sat down beside jessy.
