Goul King: Melizard 2

Daniel charged at Melizard and slashed his daggers at him with a high speed while Melizard blocked every attack with ease .

Clang~clang~clang

Their fight became intense and fast paced making the naked eyes unable to follow them .

[ Lightning Technique: Multiple Slashes ]

Daniel used his skill moving with incredible speed leaving just afterimages and sending several slashes at Melizard.

Clang~clang~clang

Every slash Daniel made was blocked with Melizard. The fight lasted an hour with only Daniel attacking at Melizard blocking .

And with a bit force Melizard blocked Daniel attack and sent him back several meters .

" I think that's enough of playing " Melizard said as the aura around him changed and bloodlust came out of his body toward Daniel making him breathe heavily and felt his body as if has been crushed with a mountain above him . He looked at Melizard and saw as if the grim reaper looking directly at him demanding his soul .

Terrified , yes he was terrified , he didn't face a situation like this before , a situation that made him face death itself literally . In his previous fights he didn't face a situation like this , yes he was close to death but it was due physical damages and bleeding but now it's on the soul level , the death itself looking at him , at his soul demanding it .

But suddenly Daniel remembered something that Siri told him a year ago when he finished the 10th floor .

His ture name , the name that represents the death and annihilation, one of the primordials that stand at the apex of souls , they can destroy anything in existence with just a thought and Anaressia was an example of that as she simply gave him power and reincarnated him with just a thought of her, and now he is on the way to become a one like her so that he doesn't feel down , feel like he is weaker than her and has to depend on her when a someone powerful than him come .

" I am the incarnation of death , the death is me and I am the death , my soul is black and filled with death and the souls that have been killed over ages . "

Daniel said those words unconsciously with deep dominating voice sending shivers down Melizard spine when he heard those words .

[ Death Zone ]

Suddenly a wide dark black circle with black fog emitting from it surrounded both of them and their surroundings making Melizard shocked and terrified as he felt something bad , really bad , coming from this circle .

Then Daniel stood up but his body wasn't evident and can be seen as very black fog covered his whole body . The only thing that can be seen is two red dots .

Suddenly the red dots glowed as it looked at Melizard making him very terrified and shivering from fear , he felt despair at this moment when those red dots looked at him , he felt as if his existence he nothing in front of it . But Melizard regain his calm and looked at Daniel cautiously as if analyzing him .

Then a black greatsword came came flying out of the mansion and fell at Melizard hand . He grabbed the hilt tightly then in the next moment he vanished from his place and appeared behind Daniel and attacked him with his greatsword but his attack went through Daniel's body as if it was a just a fog . Melizard was surprised but didn't last long as a punch came to his face sending him back several miles and crashed into a big hard rock outside the town .

" Agh ! Shit ! What was that power behind the punch?! And how he doesn't have a physical body ! "

He stood up from the destroyed rock and held his greatsword on his shoulder while looking toward the direction he came from , no he was looking literally the man who sent him flying .

He took a deep breath .

[ Haive Step ]

He took just a single step and in the next moment he vanished and appeared before Daniel .

[ Megaton Slash ]

Then he slashed diagonally at Daniel cutting through the fog but no blood came out at all , but everything behind the fog was cut in half destroy the surrounding houses and grounds .

" Tsk ! As I thought he doesn't have a physical body , then ... "

He again stepped back and held the sword in front of him .

[ Beyond Worlds ]

And in the next moment he cut at him vertically cutting through everything whether it's physical or spiritual, everything beyond the world comprehension was cut vertically leaving a long deep cut on the ground .

Melizard thought that he killed him but in the next sec the fog appeared in front of him again with glowing red eyes looking at him .

[ Death Slash ]

Daniel slashed his hand diagonally at Melizard cutting him on the spot .

' How ?! HOW DIDN'T HE DIE ?! "

" Don't think too much as your death is near " said Daniel with calm yet cold voice .

Melizard body started to connect itself again as Daniel didn't cut his head but his body .

And when his body was completely healed Daniel cut it again diagonally. This process was repeated again and again with Melizard body cut into several pieces each time it healed.

Time passed and a month passed with Daniel still cutting Melizard body over and over .

Daniel was bored and said inwardly ' this is enough " his voice was still cold and calm .

Daniel let Melizard body heal until it healed completely.

[ Neir ]

Daniel raised his hand at Melizard and clutched it into a fist .

*Thud*

Melizard body fell on the ground lifeless and devoid of any traces of life .

' Neir ' is a skill that can simply crush the soul of the opponent with just a thought . It looks simple but dangerous skill for anyone to have .

' Death Zone ' is a skill enable Daniel to practice his authority over death within the area that zone can reach .

Daniel deactivated his Death Zone and the fog disappeared leaving a handsome man with black hair and golden yellow eyes with sharp yet cold expression on his face .

He didn't say any word at all as he witnessed what he did by himself and understood what he did earlier .

*Sigh*

He sighed and moved toward the mansion, he entered it a stood in front of a magic circle on the ground that will transport him to the next floor .

He didn't wait and stepped inside and in the next second he vanished from the place toward the next floor.
