Chapter 49 - Growth - Purpose - Lead

In the end, it was Axel who emerged victorious, his Nen ability overwhelming the old man's and forcing him to retreat.

"Not bad," the old man said, his cane-sword transforming back into a simple cane. "You're a talented Nen user, and I wouldn't be surprised if you go far in this world."

"Thank you," Axel replied, panting slightly. "But I'm not done yet." "I've got a long way to go, and I'm not stopping until I reach the top."

With that, the old man disappeared into the night, leaving Axel alone to reflect on the battle he had just won. He was stronger and more confident than ever, and he knew that he was on the right path to becoming one of the strongest Nen users in the world.

The old man with the cane stood on the rooftop, looking out over the city with a smile on his face. Beside him was a woman with glasses and a skirt, who was also looking out over the city with a smile.

"So, what did you think of that young Nen user?" the woman asked, her eyes still on the city.

"He was quite impressive," the old man replied, his smile never leaving his face. "He's got a good foundation in Nen, and his techniques are quite solid." "I wouldn't be surprised if he makes a name for himself in this world."

"Really?" the woman asked, a look of surprise on her face. "I've heard that he's a bit of a wild card, not really committed to any particular path or cause."

"Yes, that may be true," the old man replied. "But that's what makes him so interesting." "He's got a lot of potential, and if he were to find the right cause or purpose, he could become one of the strongest Nen users out there."

"Well, that's good to hear," the woman said, a smile spreading across her face. "We'll have to keep an eye on him and see how he develops." "He could be a valuable asset in the future."

"Indeed," the old man replied, his eyes still on the city. "He's got a lot of potential, and I wouldn't be surprised if he becomes someone to be reckoned with in the future."

The two of them stood on the rooftop, looking out over the city as the sun began to set. They both knew that Axel was someone to keep an eye on, and they wouldn't be surprised if he went on to do great things in the world of Nen.

Axel found a bar, took a seat at the counter, and ordered a drink. As he sipped his drink, his thoughts turned to the recent battle he had with the old man with the cane. He knew that the old man hadn't used all of his abilities and power in the battle.

"When it comes to aura level and aura output, I don't lose much to anyone right now," Axel thought to himself. "Not including the Royal Guards of Meruem or Meruem himself, or the old monsters like Netero and Zzig, or even Maha Zoldyck.Their NE output must be insane for me to reach it right now.

"The most important thing I lose is experience."

Axel took another sip of his drink and leaned back in his seat, lost in thought. He knew that he still had a long way to go before he could consider himself one of the greats. But he was determined to get there, no matter what it took.

"I'll get there eventually," he said to himself. "I'll keep practicing, keeping learning, and keeping growing." "I won't let anyone or anything stand in my way."

With that, Axel finished his drink, paid his bill, and left the bar. He was ready to face whatever the future held, and he was determined to make the most of it.
