Viktor continued hunting, this time alone or in a group with his mother, while his sister helped the others to level up and his father stayed with his sister or took care of their house.

He quickly managed to reach level 5 and choose his class.

While they could do that and would actually gain a bit more experience than other classes by killing their own kind(humans), it wasn't something relevant in the long-term according to the book.

But it was a fact that if he could alter people's behavior with their class, although it seemed that not much, he did not want to risk having a class that had no growth without doing immoral things.

At level 5 there were many benefits, which was why his family and himself wanted Viktor to get to level 5 quickly, even if it took them longer.

More stat points can be earned per level from this point on, a total of 10 points per level. In addition, 10 points are given only for reaching level 5.

With the monsters evolving it was necessary for someone in the group to be stronger in case of encountering stronger monsters.

They are his sister's friends, not his.

Although Benjamin and Azul's family saw him that way, Jessie on the other hand seemed to look at him much more calmly, and seemed interested in him.

Jessie had always teased Viktor, with jokes that he didn't know if they were true or not.

For example calling him cute or similar things, as if showing interest, but he always thought it was just a joke.

She seemed immature to him and she couldn't be alone, something he found disgusting.

He knew that his sister was partly similar and although that disgusted him a little bit, his sister could at least be left alone.

She could be undisturbed and be alone, without dating at least for a while.

Besides, as long as it didn't involve him, Viktor didn't have much of a problem with his sister's decisions

He knew Jessie was more about changing boyfriends than underwear, and he wouldn't be interested in someone like that.

Viktor felt that he had to get all these people away from his sister as soon as possible, most of them were just freeloaders.

Only Melissa gave him a good feeling, the others disgusted him.

Especially Benjamin and Azul, they seemed disgusting, but Viktor still couldn't see clearly what they wanted.
