The Revelation

Luke was thrown into an extremely small cell of complete darkness. The gravity was extremely chaotic and he felt his body being shredded. Luke could feel a presence surrounding him like a smog, observing him carefully.

Luke ignored all these feelings. This Abyss dungeon had a evil reputation that those who entered it once were never able to leave the same again. He calmed himself and quietly took out the black chopstick and began practicing the first fundamental control exercise.

Luke couldn't figure out how long had passed in this abyss of darkness and thus only kept count of the number of times he kept practicing the control exercise. After tens of times when he felt muddle headed, Luke suddenly heard a gravelly voice.

"Lad... your talent is so bad. Your mind has been damaged."

Luke raised an eye, but he couldn't think too clearly. However, hearing the voice reminded him that his mind was injured. He immediately popped a pill and felt his mind healing and his thoughts collecting rapidly. It felt like he had suddenly woken up from a dream, but his mind felt stronger than before.

"Control exercises help forge the mind as well, beside the basic reason of increasing control. These pills aren't ordinary either, they heal the mind so rapidly and help in progress. As the mind becomes firmer, the damage each time I practice to the limit reduces as well....For now, I should deal with the voice." Luke quickly organized his thoughts.

"Who are you?" He asked in faux shock.

"Haha lad, you are quite resourceful. I didn't expect you to have a pill like that. Why are you in the abyss?" The gravelly voice asked.

"I assaulted a professor." Luke calmly replied.

"Hahaha, good good good." The voice said good thrice. "Just like when I was young. Those bastards who act like professors know jack shit."

Luke calmed himself as he asked again. "Who are you?"

The gravelly voice ignored his question. "Do you know what day it is today?"

Luke suddenly had a bad premonition. "What day is it?" He said sounding puzzled.

"Haha, your acting is too bad. You are still a long ways from fooling me. Did you think you are the only one who thought of it?"

"What do you mean?" Luke asked with even more confusion on his face and even some fright.

"Haha, that was a little better, but you are too much of a greenhorn. In a few minutes the celestial equinox will take place again." The voice said.

"...again?" Luke grasped onto the crucial piece of information.

The voice did not reply back. At that moment, cracks began appearing all around the darkness. The cracks spread light through the dark abyss, and Luke could finally see an extremely old and frail man who had fused into the wall of his cell. The cell was made of wood and the old and frail man was also almost wood.

At the same time, the cracks were healing, as new cracks were forming. These cracks were even bigger than before.

The gravelly voice actually displayed panic. "Could it be? No, how could it be? Is this the final equinox? Bastard! You tricked me! You tricked me!!" The voice was going crazy.

Luke was gripped with fear as he looked at the pearl tattoo on his hand. He could feel a faint sense of panic from Melinda's daughter who was sealed inside the pearl.

The cracks turned into gigantic earthquakes. Tremors shook the cellar, causing Luke the clash with the walls with heavy impact. His bones were broken amd he coughed out blood, but he was still alive.

"Is it over? Haha, I, Javier Bardoom have escaped from the clutches of death!" The old man fused with the wall cried out in joy.

However, at that moment, the Abyss Dungeon started disintegrating. The cracks had completely overwhelmed the dark black smoke that covered the dungeon and slowly began turning everything into disintegrated particles.

"No! How is this possible? Even the space tunnel is collapsing!" The voice began crying again.

Luke saw that and he felt a bitter bile in in throat. He had assumed that he would be able to save himself from the apocalypse until the powerful mages could seal whatever that gigantic hand was that erupted from the earth. However, it seems he had failed.

However, at that moment everything froze as if Luke was stuck in photograph. A voice suddenly emerged within his mind. The modulating and constantly shifting voice gave Luke a terrifying chill.

"Good... Remember... make sure you can live... until the time freezes over..."

"The Red hood was still following me!" Luke immediately realized, but what the voice said shocked him even further.

Suddenly, everything blacked out. Luke opened his eyes, and found himself at home, on his bed. His face drenched in sweat and his body pale. He quickly turned towards the calendar placed on the desk near the bed.

"Thirty days back in time again." Luke said calmly. He finally understood what was going on.

"I wasn't sent back in time... I was thrown into a time loop! 'As long as I don't die before time freezes over' I can restart thirty days back in time." Luke analyzed. He finally understood some things.

"I underestimated who ever or whatever is behind this. This isn't just pulling me back in time, it is pulling me back in time potentially, infinitely." Luke realized.
