Chapter Eleven: BreakFast
" Love is ever so changing "
" No buts, we have gone through thick and thin together so therefore no need for such title between us " Charis shot the last arrow and turned to face Atlas.
" The bullseye " Atlas commented
" Yeah so what brings you here " Charis asked
" I have got news "
" What news, hope is a good one "
" Yeah its a good one " Atlas replies while smiling. If someone was here they would have been shocked because Atlas was known to be a stoic and cold person who hardly smile but now he is smiling.
" The people of Kòrinthos located at Gaza are trying to rebel"
" Rebel? " Charis was astonished " It hasn't even been one week since Sire died and they are already showing signs of rebellion ".

The next morning, at the dining table the royal family were seated as the maidservants served the dishes.
" Why is Dion not here " Charis demanded from a maid nearby
" My lord, he is getting ready " The maid answered with her head down
Charis was about to reply when he saw Dion coming.
" Speak of the devil and the devil appears " Zephyr muttered in annoyance
Dion trotted into the dining room and took a seat beside Charis at the right hand side.
" Greetings Imperial Father and Mother " Dion greeted politely and Charis nodded his head.
" How was your night " Demetra asked
Dion gave a short reply " Fine " Obviously not wanting to continue the conversation
Demetra was about to complain when she heard Charis voice.
" Lets eat "
" Finally " Zephyr muttered under his breath with an expression of relief only to get stomped on the feet.
In pain " Ouch " Zephyr yelped and looked at Aspas beside him asking him why he marched him but Aspas ignored him.
Having no where to vent his anger he decided to vent it on the food by hacking it with his cutleries.
Demetra noticed the abnormality in Zephyr and was worried.
" What's wrong Zephyr, is the food not to your liking "
" Nothing mother " Zephyr replied.

Dion finished eating his food and stood up to leave
" Halt " Charis ordered
Dion stopped and turned to look at Charis
" How may I help you Imperial Father "
" Sit " Charis ordered again
Dion sat down on his chair obediently and mulled on the reason for the wait.
" I would like you to accompany me to court meeting today so as to familiarize yourself "
Demetra who was sitting beside Charis at the left hand side was on high alert ever since Charis began talking.
" Imperial Fa... " Dion was unable to finish talking when he was interrupted by Demetra
" My Lord, Dion is still young and is not suitable to attend such meetings he might make a fool of himself or maybe embarrass you " Demetra spoke affectionately like she cares about the wellbeing of Dion.
" My lord I suggest you take either Aspas or Zephyr with you " She continued when she noticed that Charis was not fully convinced
" Yes Imperial Father, mother is right and I am sure that my dear brother will not mind " Aspas said while looking at Dion seated opposite him.
Charis faced Dion to ask for his opinion
Dion saw through all thier motherly and brotherly act but decided to play along after all he was not interested in going to the court meeting.
" Sorry Imperial Father I cannot attend since I have some personal issues to handle maybe next time " Dion lied through his tongue
Charis knew he was lying but did not plan on exposing him. " Your wish "
" There will be no next time " Aspas thought
" Imperial Father, since Dion is too busy to attend " Aspas stressed the words too busy and continued " Permit me to attend in his place " Aspas spoke righteously .
Demetra smiled inwardly as she listened to their conversation.
