Feeling deflated, Tino nodded, only saying, “If we don’t grab it now, someone else might.”

“I know you’re antsy to get started on this,” Armand replied, pulling Tino into a loose embrace. “But waiting a day, so we can bring Royce into the discussion, won’t hurt.”

“I suppose.” Tino rested his head on Armand’s shoulder, smiling when Armand stroked his hair and muttered, “You need to cut this. Or I do.”

“It’s not that long,” Tino protested.

“Another month and it will be touching your collar.”
