Chapter 17 Experiment and Auction

"With additional employees and selvi watching over them, I no longer need to be in the shop all day."

I have a few things I want to try, especially about medicines that I can buy on the internet. Seeing how energy drinks have a stronger effect here, I want to test how the effects of these drugs are and whether they have side effects like on earth.

I searched for medicines that I could try myself on the internet.

'Before giving it to someone else, I better test it first.'

I can't try drugs like painkiller or fever medicine now because I'm fine. After searching for a few minutes, I found a medicine that I could try and see the effect.

Adderall, commonly used in the treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and narcolepsy. In low doses often used as an physical performance enhancer such as increasing muscle strength, acceleration, endurance and reaction time, and cognitive performance enhancers such as improving focus and memory.

To prove how the effect of adderall in this world, I bought the lowest dosage of 5 mg at a price of 700 $ for 100 tablets.

"If after I consume this drug and feel the effects such as dizziness, nausea, headache or stomachache. Means that side effects still exist in this world. "

Then i took 1 tablet adderall and immediately felt the effect. I feel my brain is very focused right now, usually adderall only works after one to two hours after taking it.

I train my body and reading some stuff on internet while on adderall effect. After almost 4 hours, I still feel the effects of adderall and haven't felt the side effects of this drug.

"Maybe if I keep consuming it regularly, I will feel the effect." I decided to continue using it to see if there were any side effects in it.

If there are no side effects from adderall, I have a plan for this adderall.

The effect of adderall begin to wear away after about 5 hours, after the effect disappears I still don't feel the side effects like fatigue.

"The results of the experiment: the drug has a very fast effect. Side effects: need further experiments. " I concluded the experiment today.

As I thought about what other medicines I should try, I heard a knock on the door.

"Nine, there are some merchants who want to buy spices and others items in large quantities."

I left my room. "Alright, let's go." Previously I asked Selvi to call me if there are merchants who want to buy in large quantities.

When I reached downstairs, I saw five people who were discussing while looking at merchandise in the shop. I approached them,

"Hello, welcome to Le Réseau. I am Nine, the owner of this shop. " I introduce myself.

"It seems there are many people who are interested, but I only have a few items that can be sold right now." When I say that, every merchants start to shouting their prices.

"Please calm down, I don't want to disturb other customers. How about we go to the guild to discuss it. " I suggested.

These merchants agreed and we left for the merchants' guild.

"Selvi, can you come with me. I need you to record few things." I took Selvi with me.

When entering the guild building, we attract the attention of other merchants in there. I continued to walk towards Adelia's counter.

"Adelia, can I rent a meeting room in the guild?" I asked Adelia.

"Of course Mr. Nine, please follow me." We walked to the guild meeting room.

When I talked to Adelia, some merchants knew why we were here for and followed us to meeting room.

Inside the guild room, I saw the number of merchants increased to 9 people.

'Looks like I'll get a big profit today.' My capitalist energy overflowing.

All the merchants start shouting their offer again, it is more chaotic.

"Calm down, everyone! I'll tell you something important first." I speak in a rather loud voice to make them shut up.

After they were quiet down, I started talking again.

"Right now I only have 300 kg for each type of spice except vanilla, 50 bottles of each perfume, and I can only sell 50 bottles of Cabernet Sauvignon wine. For the other two types of wine, I can't sell it right now. " I explained to the merchants.

"That's why, to avoid commotion, I will sell it to the person who gives the best price. I will auction it start from the spices, 100 kg of sugar at the price of 80 gold coins. " I began to auction off my merchandise.

"81 gold coins ..."

"82 gold coins ..."

"..."

"90 gold coins !!" The first 100 kg of sugar was sold to Aldus, the merchant who introduced himself to me before.

The auction lasts for almost 2 hours. 300 kg of sugar and 100 kg of cloves were sold to Aldus at the price of 1 white gold coin and 123 gold coins, while the other spices were sold to other traders. I got 823 gold coins from auctioning off all the spices.

There is some interesting thing, where all perfume and wine are bought by representatives of Siddon Trading Firm. They pay perfume and wine 50% higher than the original price.

I got 337 white gold coins from the sale of all perfume and wine.

"I didn't expect Siddon Trading Firm to have so much money, they didn't even hesitate to spend that much."

After finishing auctioning all the spices, perfume and wine, we signed a Sales and Purchase Agreement. And as before I asked them to pay half of their order first.

"Your order will arrive within one week. You can take it here. For merchants who have warehouses in this city, I will deliver your order directly there. " I explained to the merchants.

"Selvi, did you record their order?"

"Of course, everything is in the book." Selvi shows the records as we walked back to the shop.

Today I brought home 170 white gold coins and 123 gold coins. I have enough money to expand my business, I will do it slowly.
