On the ship's upper deck at the bow, a large crowd of tourists had gathered, chattering noisily, huddled together and refusing to leave, bursting into cheers from time to time as if they were witnessing some exciting performance.
The second mate looked up at the sky. There was no magnificent sight, no aurora, no sea eagles, and nearby there were no massive glaciers or polar bears—everything was the same as usual. What could these people be crowding at the bow to see?
Inside, it was spring all year round, but outside it was negative thirty degrees—not to mention the strong wind. If there wasn't any beautiful scenery to see, there was no way tourists would be out on the upper deck.
