Hanul

The rays of the early morning sun softly caressed my face as I sat cross-legged on the yoga mat in the backyard of the villa. With my meditation done, I got up to start on my qigong and tai chi.

"Your form is improving" a tall muscular man was leaning against the door frame. Pushing himself upright he came up to me making minor adjustments to my stance.

"How many forms have you mastered?" He walked around me to check my posture and foot placement.

I smiled and answered "about 70"

He looked at me in surprise "70, wow, not bad."

As my physiotherapist San recommended tai chi to me a month or so after I came back from Tetsu and Ken, saying that it will help strengthen my body. It really did, I followed his instructions religiously.

"So, I heard that you are moving this week"

I straightened up, walked to the table at the end of the grass, and grabbed my towel and water bottle.

"Yes, Dr. Park finally signed off on my psychiatric evaluation," I answered before downing half the bottle of water.

"Lilly is also getting bigger by the day, is that normal?"

Dropping my arms from drying my hair, I looked up at San.

"I don't know San, to tell the truth, I'm scared, she's only 11 months but she looks like a 3-year-old. I don't know where we will go from here, we are still in danger from the Golden clan, of them taking Lilly and killing me."

The Golden clan as far as I knew was like a mafia group led by Minho's father, Minho was his heir and current second in command.

San walked up to me and took a piece of my hair in between his fingers before tucking it behind my right ear. My hair is getting longer and I kind of like the new style.

I looked up into his green eyes noting his wavy blond hair, firm lips, and straight nose, my eyes moved down to his hands as he cupped my face, and he moved closer till our foreheads touched.

"I can keep you safe Hanul, in these past few months I came to care deeply about you and Lilly. Please stay here with me. I have enough savings to provide for both of you."

I removed his hands from my face as I looked down at my feet "I'm sorry San" quickly turned around to go back into the villa.

His broken voice stopped me before I could go inside. "You will not see me again after today, Hanul, I can't do this. I can't put on a happy face and see you leave."

With my back facing San I nodded my head to indicate that I heard and understood his words. Silent tears ran down my face as I knew that I had just lost a very dear friend.

I'm so sorry San but my heart is not my own, Minho still has it firmly in his grip.

I went inside to find Lilly giggling and watching her favourite Anime series. Wiping my tears and putting a fake smile on my face I asked her what she would like for dinner.

Lilly turned around to look at me, seeing my swollen eyes, she ignored it for once. Pointing at the TV screen she said "Yakisoba Moddy!"

That's a new one. Ever since she started watching the series, she picked a favourite from each arc. It started off with a soufflé omelet to twice-cooked pork to Hujiao Bing to cheese feathered Hanetsuki Gyõzo and now Yakisoba.

Checking the nearby restaurants online to see if they make this dish and if they deliver. After scrolling for 10 minutes, I almost gave up when a pop-up ad filled my screen.

Giving an excited yell I called Lilly over. "Lilly come look here quickly"

She ran over as fast as her little legs could carry her.

"What's wrong Moddy?"

"Look pumpkin, look" I held the phone so that she could see the pop-up. She looked at the phone, then at the TV and then back again at the phone.

"Moddy!" She giggled jumping up and down.

"It looks like the boy from my show! Quick click on it!" she shoved the phone back at me.

I clicked on the link and silently hoped that it didn't take me to some adult site.

Low and behold the link is legit, the name of the takeaways is Yuki's eatery, it also said that they have a branch for fine dining called Yuki's Kitchen and that they specialize in all the dishes from the series.

After a bit, we found what we wanted and placed an order for dinner. Using the gold card Aunt Mei gave me I paid for the food with instructions for it to be delivered at 6 pm.

The rest of the week passed without any incident.

As the villa came fully furnished, we did not have a lot of packing, basically only our clothes.

Due to Lilly's rapid growth spurts, she does not have much clothing, but she did have two big boxes full of stuffed animals.

It was also time to visit Tetsu and Ken again for our follow-up. Their son should be about 3 months old now.

As soon as Lilly and I entered the shop through the backdoor, we were attacked by a ............... a miniature shark. Lilly gave a surprised yelp and jumped into my arms.

The most adorable giggle erupted from the shark as he realized that he gave Lilly a fright. "Hey, hey, hey," the baby said making a grabby hand at me to pick him up.

"Kota where are you?" I heard Tetsu calling from the hallway. He entered the kitchen and saw the baby at our feet.

"Kota! Stop scaring people like that" Tetsu picked the baby up, holding him to his chest.

"Princess? Is that you and sweet pea?" "Kitten! Come quick Princess and sweet pea is here. Come take your brat!"

Suddenly the baby wearing a shark onesie turned into a demon spider monkey.

"No! not poppa. I want pretty baby!" he screeched while he banged his head on Tetsu's shoulder.

"Kitten!!!!!!" Tetsu sounded very panicked "Code red, demon monkey."

"What the hell is all the noise for?" a very irritated Ken walked into the kitchen. When Kota saw his poppa, he screeched even louder.

"NOOOOOO!!!!! NOT POPPA, PRETTY BABY"

Ken tried to take the upset baby from Tetsu, but Kota was not having it. Lilly and I just stood there wide-eyed. Is this their baby? But he is supposed to be only three months old not almost 1 year. I felt a pat on my shoulder and Lilly's soft voice asked to be let down. She walked over to Tetsu and placed her small hand on the baby's back.

It was as if someone pressed the mute button on a remote, instant silence. We all looked from the docile baby to Lilly.

"How did you do that?" Ken and Tetsu ask Lilly at the same time. A low growl could be heard from Lilly as she patted Kota on his back saying. "Behave baby shark!"

Big golden eyes looked down at Lilly as the baby nodded his head and went to Ken.

"Kota is my mate, He is also an Alpha, a very strong and frustrated one. We are still too young to imprint, but it will happen. He will be good from now on. Do not treat him as a baby, stimulate his mind, I will create a mind link with him so that we can be close to each other. Do NOT tell Moddy it will only stress him out."

I looked from Lilly to the baby and then to his parents as the silence dragged on.

Oh, she must be talking to them via the mind link, I wondered what she was telling them.

Tetsu quickly made our new ear studs. While he was busy with Lilly, I pulled Ken to one side and gave him the backpack I had with me.

"Ken please keep this save for me, after what you told me last time it seems that there might come a day that I will need it"

Ken opened the bag and saw that it was stacked full of Credits, the only currency that is accepted worldwide. He nodded his head and disappeared with the bag. The rest of the appointment flew past.

The next day Lilly and I found ourselves on a commercial plane heading to Musang country with brand new passports and the brand-new surname of Jane.
