S2: Chapter 5

"Yep. You aren't wrong about that. But I liked the sweets they sold. And that crunchy potato in some shops." Y/B says.

"I don't want to think about food right now. I am so full." Tsukiyomi says groaning. "We didn't even eat so much." Y/B says taking out small sugar-coated sweets from his pocket.

"You brought those in your pocket? Stupid. Now your pocket must be sticky and sweet." you say disgusted.

"As long as I can eat these, I will do anything. Also, you are right. My pockets are full of sugar." Y/B says.

You just sigh and keep staring at the ceiling. "I miss our world." you say.

"I miss my phone.. A-And mom and dad and Akari.." Y/B says. Tsukiyomi remains quiet.

You soon fall asleep and so does Y/B. But Tsukiyomi stays awake and goes outside for a while.

"I don't want to go back. Then I would become distant from Y/N and that bastard will keep coming in my and Y/N's way." he says angrily. *Bastard= C/N*

"I do wonder. Where he might be right now..." he thinks.

The next morning, you wake up and find Y/B next to you. "What is the time?" you think while stretching.

"Someone is missing.. Uhh... Tsukiyomi!" you think and look around but don't see him.

"Guess he went somewhere." you say. "Potato fry.. Grilled fish. I want more." you hear Y/B mumbling while sleeping. "What the hell?" you say looking at him while he is drooling.

"Blech!" you groan and decide not to wake Y/B up from his dream.

"I am the best sister for not waking up my brother from sleep." you say and go outside.

"I think it is like 1 pm or something cuz' the sun is just above me." you say. Just then, you hear a knock on the door.

"Miss, may I come in?" you hear a voice from outside. "Yes." you say coming back inside. "How are you, miss?" Mavis asks. "Oh! Are you okay now?" you ask happily.

"Yes, never felt better." she answers. "Let us head back to my place so I can get changed." you say.

"Ok." she says and starts walking with you.

After getting changed-

"Miss, tomorrow is the Hunting Commemoration. So, we need to get the equipment today itself." she says and started walking outside. You follow her and ask, "Hunting Commemoration? What is that?" you ask.

"Um... All nobles hunted an animal for glory each year. So, it became a custom. Remember, we read about it in a book?" she asks. "Oh.. Yeah. I remember now." you lie about it.

"So, what animals are we gonna hunt?" you ask. "Rabbit and a sparrow are the most inferior ones. And then there are Deers and Sheep. And then there are the animals superior to us. Tigers and Bears. They are quite strong, so not many people try to hunt them." she explains.

"Woah. That is entertaining and nice way to pass the time. But why Rabbits, Sparrows, Deers and Sheep? They are the most innocent animals." you question.

"Hmm.. I think so too but I don't know why they hunt those poor creatures." she says.

"Ok, so should we like get weapons?" you ask. "Yes. A bow and arrow, a dagger and a few stones." she replies.

"Then, let's go get them." you say and walk outside.

"So, this is the Weapon Shed. Is that a literal blade??" you ask surprised. You put your hand on the top of the blade and cut your finger by mistake. "Ouch.. It is real.. Woah." you say.

"Be careful, Nevil!" Mavis shouts and gets a cloth to cover the injury.

"What are you trying to do?" she asks you looking really worried. You don't say anything and explore the shed after she ties the cloth on your finger.

"Nevil, I grabbed everything. Let's go." Mavis says a while later.

"Yeah, just a second." you say examining the weapons placed on the walls. Then you walk out of the shed and head back.

You meet Tsukiyomi on the way back. "Hey, where did you go today morning?" you enquire.

"Oh, I just left to get stuff for the hunting thing. I think you are also going to come." he says. "Yep, just came back from the Weapon Shed." you say.

"Ok, then we should back and have dinner." he starts walking after he finished speaking.

"K" you say and start walking too.

After dinner, in your room-

"Right, I almost forgot tomorrow is the hunting thing. I don't want to hunt all those animals. What if I meet a tiger or bear? Will they attack me?... Obviously they will.. I am so stupid." you talk to yourself.

You then go and lie on your bed. "I feel like something big is going to happen tomorrow. MAYBE I WILL HUNT A TIGER AND THEN... Never mind, that is not gonna happen." you think while covering yourself with the blanket. Soon after that, you fall asleep.

The next morning, everyone meets in the middle of the forest.

"As you all know, today is the day when every noble has the chance to gain the people's respect. A day when you get all the glory! It is time for the HUNTING COMMERATION TO BEGIN!!!" a man announces.

Everyone goes in different directions with their servants and weapons in hands. "Sis!" you hear Y/B calling you.

"Hey, you also came?" you ask. "Yep, Tsuki also came but he went off already. Guess, he wants to enjoy the glory today." he says smiling.

"Ok, then I guess we should also find and hunt the preys now." you say.

"Yep, be careful. See ya later." he says and goes away. "Ok, so, let's go that side." you say.

"Ok." Mavis says and starts walking with you.

While walking in the forest-

"Miss.. A deer!" Mavis whispers in your ear. "Um, ok I will just try to befriend it and take it back home as a pet." you say closing up to it.

It hears your light footsteps and becomes alert. "Hey.. I just want befriend you. Come with me, if you don't want to die." you say.

"TWANG!!!" an arrow hits.. the deer.

You move back immediately and fall on the ground. "Are you okay, Nevil?" Mavis asked frightened.

You look towards the direction from where the arrow came.

A man appeared with an evil-looking smile. "I got a deer with me too now. Next, is the tiger." he says picking up the deer.

He looks at you and says, "I am sorry if that scared you." With that, he leaves proudly with his prey.

"That was scary." you say getting up. "You are still trembling. Take rest for a while. I will go look for some water nearby." Mavis says and takes you to a corner.

"Ok, come back fast and be careful." you say.

After she left, it became really quiet. You could hear the sounds of the different birds and insects.

Looking around and enjoying the greenery, your eyes go to a bush. "It is moving... I can hear the leaves rustling." you say.

You start walking towards it and then suddenly....
