His appearance.

"Thank You."

Then closed the door in front of me and walked through the corridor.

Wrote in my journal, "Another Failure," and crossed out the name of the business I had just applied to.

I closed it after taking a deep breath.

I was so close to being hired, so why am I not being given the position?

When I considered how many failures I've experienced, I nearly broke down in tears. Should I give up? But why won't they acknowledge me even if I wanted to share my abilities and knowledge? Am I not really a good choice for them?

Unconsciously bumping into someone as I managed to turn from the hallway, my journal flew out of my hands, and I ended up on the ground from the quick collision.

Geez..what's the hurry?

My journal plopped in front of a pair of gleaming, expensive-looking black shoes.

A male voice I could hear in front of me said, "Miss, I'm so, very sorry."

When I looked up to see who it was. A tall, attractive young man stood in front of me. He wore round Spectacles and had amber-colored eyes.

I checked my eyes again to make sure the man in front of me was real. Does he resemble anyone else, or is it just me?

He picked up my journal that had fallen onto his very expensive shoes and I noticed he took a glimpse inside my journal.

I quickly stood up from the cold floor and dusted off my jeans.

"I'm sorry again. Did I hurt you?" He asked in a concerned way.

Do I look like I'm ok? Probably no!

I shooked my head with my smallest smile and then he lends me my journal back in a proper way which I received it with my two hands. He smiled at me and walked passed through me, heading towards the door where I've been.

Hmm..I guess he's here for an interview too.

I continued and took my turn, feeling a slight relief in me.

At the coffee shop, I placed my order and paid for one cortado coffee and several butter biscuits. I then move in the direction of the unoccupied table next to the large window. I set my journal down on the table and sat down, watching the people outside.

I wonder who the prior person was. I can't recall who he reminds me of, but he looks familiar. Is there something I'm missing?

I took a deep sigh and pulled my gaze back inside the coffee shop and roamed my eyes to see how wonderful this place is. I remember that I invited Bryan here to have a cup of coffee with me.

A few minutes had passed, my order arrived. I inhaled the steaming coffee that made my mind and senses relaxed.

My comfort drink~! and it already made my day better!

After taking a drink of my cortado, I was still in awe of this coffee. Since the first time I bought it, the flavor has remained the same.

I gently set the cup down and focused on my journal. I carefully opened the journal and looked over the names of the companies I'd recently applied to. I don't have as many companies to apply to anymore, and I believe I've already tried all the ones in Bredon.

I sighed dejectedly and flipped onto the next page which the magazines and newspapers that I had carefully adhered to the page regarding Leopold's Enigma Businesses.

I've always wanted to work here, but it's really difficult for me to get in because so many businesses have already turned me down.

A multi-billion dollar corporation! And there is no chance they will hire me! So I made the decision to apply to a bank next and try my luck there.

I just took a deep sigh and i savored the time with this delectable coffee, shutting the journal and laid it aside.

I got home around eight in the evening

and locked my apartment door after I got inside and putted the keys on top of the drawers. A deep sigh I released when I entered the living room and straightly plopped myself onto the long sofa.

"Why am I so unlucky today?" I muffled on the pillow, putting my face flat on the squared cushion.

I thought luck would struck me today but I guess not.

I gathered myself and sitted up properly, placing the cushion onto my lap. I noticed my phone was on the coffee table all along that I totally forgot to take it with me.

Pressing the power button appeared a coffee on a simple white teacup.

Ah~! I remember this! This is the first coffee that i drunked and it made me crave for more! It really brings back memories.

I swiped the screen to unlock and clicked on the app of Newsbook. Looking through the newsfeed for any information regarding Mr. Frederick's funeral, including the location of the service. A message appeared at the side of my screen after approximately a minute of scrolling..

'Bryan?' I thought.

I clicked on his message and then a picture of me he sent. I was smiling in the photo where he took it in the coffee shop last week ago.

-I forgot to send you this. You look cute here :), oh btw I already arrived in Aberdeen. I hope to see you soon!-

I blushed a little from his message and I quickly shooked my head to disregard this feeling.

No, I shouldn't have this kind of feeling towards him despite that we only knew each other for a while and I don't much know about his personality yet.

-Thanks :). Have fun there! I'll see you soon too."- and clicked send.

An idea came in my mind and decided to turn my photo into a home screen wallpaper to cherish this kind of memory. Then I turned it off and set it aside.

I grabbed the TV remote and switched it on. Alexander and his bodyguards were the first thing to be seen on the television when they entered Leopold's Enigma Businesses Building.

Several reporters and camera crews were present, hoping to have a chance to interview the Heir.

Flashing cameras were prowling the area, trying to get a good photo of his alluring face. The media was attempting to get close to him, but his securities were blocking their path.

"Mr. Leopold!"

"Is it really true that you're Father died in a Heartattack?"

"Are you sure you're going to be the next Chairman of this Company?"

"We have so many questions for you, Mr. Leopold!"

His name was only heard in the background as the media called for his attention. Nevertheless, Alexander didn't bother to look at them; instead, he kept his cool, severe, and serious expression fixed on the entryway as he made his way through.
