"My stats and level seem to have significantly increased after absorbing that spirit. And my magic power is now 10 000, I wonder if I can control it.", she muttered as she picked up another book.

She had already gone through every book she had looking for anything about the spirit of chaos but found nothing.

'Maybe I'll find something in the local library. I should ask Sophia to take me there later", she decided to go to the backyard to practice some swordsmanship.

" Lili, your here.", Joyce shouted as she stood up from the bench and ran toward Lilith.

"Joy, were you practicing some swordsmanship", Lilith asked and Joyce excitedly nodded. "How about a spar"

"Sure, but be careful you might be crushed by my overwhelming might", she sang as she took a fighting stance in front of Lilith who already had a rapier in hand.

Without wasting a minute Lilith charged forward swinging her blade. Joyce didn't have time to move away and decided to block the attack with her sword. The swords they were using are custom-made to fit their small bodies and are lighter than your standard swords.

Lilith was on the offensive making sure to not give Joyce a moment to attack when it comes to strength she knew she couldn't beat Joyce.

"Divine flames, rage", a wall of fire appeared separating the two. Joyce had used a combination of her holy magic and fire magic, the flames were golden in color indicating the presence of holy magic.

Coating her blade with the fire Joyce charged forward, swinging her sword vertically downward at Lilith who used an ice spell to trap the sword avoiding the attack. After creating some distance between them Lilith swung her sword in multiple directions releasing a wind blade with each swing.

"Firewall", the wind blades crashed into the wall of fire and immediately combusted. Joyce was flung away due to the explosion and Lilith's cheek was cut by a stone from the explosion.

"Wow, that was cool", Joyce giggled as she removed the dust from her clothes. "Lili, I've been thinking about joining the royal academy. I can't keep depending on you forever you know."

"What do you mean. I like being with you and I don't see a problem in you depending in me",

"I know but maybe there's more to life than ous small little town and this mansion. Don't worry we'll aways be friend and you can also write to me when I'm away"

"As soon as I turn ten", Joyce said as she embraced Lilith.

"Okay, then allow me to cover your tuition fee for the first three years", Lilith offered and Joyce just node

The veil of night had already covered the land but Lilith was still awake. If she can't have Joyce by her side the least she could do was make sure the holy church couldn't possess her. Joyce would have to make a difficult choice, Lili or the church.

She tiptoed to Joyce's room to find her sleeping peacefully with her familiar Lux.

"Illusion", a dark fog started to appear around Lux and Joyce. This was Lilith's spell, it would show Joyce a prophetic dream of Lilith's death by the hands of the church and the royal family. "What will you do now Joy, seeing your beloved perish in the hands of a higher power. I want this scene to be ingraved in you mind so that you may be my sword, help me bring the royal family to it's knees and help me kill princess Bella", her eyes shimmered as she whispered this into Joyce's ear.

Lilith knew that she is better protected in a crowd that in this mansion of hers, though she may be young mingling with the nobles of the east would do some good for her. She walked into her study planning to send a letter to baron Tulic and vicount Knox to send their daughters to Hower castle as playmates.

As she was about to grab her seal from one of the drawers a shiny object caught her attention. It was the moon shaped pendant her father had given to her.

I should flame the flames of this romance and make sure Margaret marries Hain. Then my next pawn is Josellyn Tulic, a political pawn. For now I need to lay the ground work for my future schemes'.
