The First Morning
With the morning rays of the sunlight starting to come over the Horizon, the first person to feel it's wrath was none other than Kon, and to be honest.
He didn't like it.
At all.
Kon was never a morning person in the first place, but he was up regardless with light shining in his eyes.
He finally got up, and just enjoyed the warmth of the sun even though he wanted to sleep more. He stretch as much as he could and in all directions. Legs shaking at the effort, and Kon was also stretching his tails and they were also shaking, and the pleasure he felt was almost enough to have a Trancending moment.
Eevee waking up also to the light but mainly to Kon moving finally also started stretching.
Now that they are awake, Kon picked up Eevee and asked her, "What do you want to do today?"
Eevee just said "Dunno."
Kon: 'Figures, though that answer doesn't surprise me.' He thought to himself with a blank face.
He was thinking of what to do when he decided to just head down the tower and explore it from bottom to top.
So he walks to the edge of the top of the tower and just took a deep breath. His eyes shinning a dull orange, uneasy with being near the edge.
Kon: "Will it be alright you think? I can jump up this high, I should be able to fall without worry, right?"
Eevee nodded her head. She already knew his capabilities, the basics at least. And this was nothing to what he could do. And she wanted Kon to have more confidence in himself, so she went full steam ahead with Kons idea.
Kon decided to follow with what she said, and just took a deep breath and jumped forward.
He felt the air running past, and it felt comfortable for him, but when he saw the ground rapidly closing in, his heart started to beat rapidly. At this point he couldn't help with what he did.
He smiled like a madman.
He maneuvered his body into a head dive towards the ground with Eevee having her front legs point up and out like she was on an amusement park ride and also enjoying it with laughter and a smile, with Kon also following suit with laughter.
His eyes changed from that dull yellow to a vibrant Green with how excited he was feeling. He was now just enjoying the rush and letting his instinct take over, letting his mind just enjoy the rush.
When they got closer to the ground, the people walking up to the tower had noticed something white falling down, and the others around them also saw. It was at this time that some high level adventures also looked up at the commotion and with their enhanced eyesight saw Kon and Eevee falling, and started to move in order to try and save them.
However, before Kon could hit the group, he ticked himself into a ball, and rolled forward to point his legs to the ground with one more extended than the other. He fanned his tailes into the shape of fan, and then made them also curve while they did so to help slow down even more like a parachute.
Finally allowed down enough and low enough, Kon decided to just few fall the rest. The people in the group below him finally reached where he was and even with them slowing down didn't know what do to. But finally Kon made it to the ground.
Everyone besides the higher leveled adventurers were staying well clear of the 'splash zone', but to their relief and horror, Kon landed and made spiderweb crack and indention in the ground when he landed.
The people around him were shocked yes, but none other than the one who caused it, and all he could do is be extremely excited bout it all. His eyes shinning so vibrant Green it was causing his eyes to become a true crystal Green color.
It was at this time he could just feel freedom in and of itself. What his freedom felt like.
He took Eevee that was his is arms and turned her around and held her with his hands and brought her close to his face.
He couldn't put it into words what he felt, but he could express it, and so he just started to rub his face up against hers and Eevee did the same, feeling happy for him.
After a few seconds he just hugged Eevee, and he started to walk back into the dungeon. He didn't know what else to do, so he wanted to head back in. Everyone else was just stunned, and none could move. It was like they were in a trance, and the reason was of Kon himself. He didn't know it at that time but he had released a ton of magic, and enough to suppress any and all thoughts of stopping and questioning the two of them. It wasn't until he made it to the edge of the pit to the dungeon and jumped down that they had started to be able to move freely.
And with the two of them going back down. Kon remember that on a certain floor there were a few levels where they could swim. Sure it was where the next Boss monster was but hey, didn't bother them. His instinct was telling them it was alright, and the dungeon had themis 'pulling' feeling for both him and Eevee. So they measly listened. It wasn't malicious to them. They were able to go down a few floors without trouble, and it was simple for them. Though they did note something interesting, and that was every monster that saw them went from hostile to friendly. And let them in their way. All goblins would wave at them, same with the Kobolds. The War Shadows would go into the cracks and appear closer and then pat both Kon's and Eevee's head. Finally making it to the 4th floor they started to wander around looking for the stairway down.
However, before they could get far, they saw this white haired boy walking near them when they gorna ways down. He saw them and was going over to check on them.
He didn't see any weapons on them or anything to protect themselves, so he felt like it was his duty to help them out.
Bell: "Hey, are you ok? You really shouldn't be down here by yourself, did you lose your way down here?" He asked with concern. When he saw the two of them he only saw a kid in danger and his pet.
Kon: "No, I'm fine and so is Eevee. We were just exploring the place." Eevee nodding her head to his answer.
The answer stunned Bell. Not expecting such an answer,and not expecting Eevee to also understand, but that just made him even more worried.
Bell: "Well, are you apart of any Familia, I can take you back to them?"
Kon and Eevee both shook their heads at this. Bell decided to just take them back to the surface for their good. It would put a hole into his pocket for money for both his Goddess and him, but he thought it was worth it if the two of them were alright.
Bell: "Well you aren't supposed to be down here, let me take you two back up and then we can talk to someone about finding your parents.
At that Kon frowned. His tails drooped and his eyes turned Red in sadness. Eevee also felt the shift from Kon since his whole body drooped. Bell realizing he just said something he probably shouldn't tried to fix it by changing topic.
Bell: "Well how about when we get to the top, I can help ya look around for a place to eat. There was this new place I was just introduced to. How about I take you there?"
Kon having heard him just nodded, his pupils still a red color.
Bell then started to introduce himself. "Jeez, where are my manners. My name is Bell, Bell Cranel. And you are?"
Kon: "Kon."
Was all he said.
Bell: "And this is Eevee I'm assuming? Nice to meet the two of yall."
Kon just went "Un." He was trying to forget about the whole thing with his family, but with that one question it brought it all rushing back, taking the wind out of his sails. Eevee didn't know what to do also either. So she just wiggled out of his arms and wrapped herself around his neck and rubbed her face against his. With her soft fur it started to tickle Kon a little, making him giggle and finally having his mind taken off his family to Eevee tickling him, his eyes started to shine Green in one eye and Blue in the other and the jewel like effect making it more mesmerizing to Bell. He couldn't help but think about how his eyes switch colors according to his emotion. But he was going to let them be, he didn't want to ruin his mood. By the time they would arrive at the top, it would be in the later afternoon for them. And then it would take a little longer to get to the restaurant he had in mind.
