Chapter 78: Strange Situation

The City of Pore was the second biggest city in the Kela kingdom for only two reasons. It was very close to the Welpore Forest, and it also bordered with Coralhelm Kingdom.

Because of that, an army of the Kela kingdom guarded this town all year, but even with that, the city was usually bustling with people as many rogue Profound artists explored the Welpore Forest and used the city as their temporary home.

But today was the opposite as the whole city was filled with army soldiers patrolling the city with their weapons on for any emergency, with worry clearly written on their faces.

On the huge and sturdy wall that surrounded the city were huge cannons and machineries and many soldiers guarded these machineries as they looked outside the city at the forest with fear in thier eyes.

This was all because of the Profound beasts that were lurking in the forest and spying from the sky. All because of the terrifying beast tide that they have no hope of winning.
