Elara stared at the script in front of her, biting her lip as she tried to focus on the words. The more she read, the more she realized how serious this role actually was. This wasn't just some lightweight romance flick. It was deep, full of emotional turmoil, hidden identities, betrayal… and, of course, love. All things she was terrible at dealing with in real life.
Amara was sitting across from her, still looking too pleased with herself for suggesting the script in the first place. Elara wanted to roll her eyes at the smugness, but she had to admit begrudgingly it was a good script.
