When we got back to Ophelia’s room, she was sitting on her desk going through papers and talking to her laptop annoyed and frustrated. Her hair was a mess like she had ran her hand through it like a million times and instead of a blue bird, there was a white rabbit, hopping around the room, changing form, turning into a white poodle, then back to rabbit. Kind of like Knox did when he was panicking or anxious.
Knox sat on my shoulder still in his kitten form. I sensed his little body tensing and how he couldn’t say a thing when he saw the shape shifter. It was the first time for him to see something like him like it was the first time for me to meet people like me.
