Shugia Empire

As I got on the carriage I gave Xane a command "Ah! Xane sent a message to the king about my trip to the empire. Tell him I am going because of a trade issue that I will discuss with him later.." 

He bowed and said "Yes my lord."

And so we departed towards the Empire.

Golden city of the eastern continent, Shugia Empire's Capital city Yailas. 

Known for its prosperity in trade of gold and luxury goods it has strived to be given its nickname of golden city. It stands at the center of the Shugia Empire and proud fully shines upon its glory.

The emperor's castle is the same, bath with gold. It reflects the light of the sun in the day and at night it's like a star in the sky. It is truly beautiful, a feast to the eyes. 

I walked the gorgeous halls of the Shugia Empire's biggest structure, the Shugia Castle. Obviously Jas was on my toes as a shadow. He had calmed considerably in the past few days but my brain has been in the over drive. 

There are higher chances of the collapse of balance if what I think comes true. A whole army of undead might as well attack and take over this world any time. And with the war being just a recent thing in history the number of corpses is in high and not a scarce thing. 

'Darkrise is quite a big risk.'

The head butler opened one of the door that lead to a living room. We settled down, well I sat and Jas stood behind me. The door opened again and the emperor of the Shugia empire Ingvar Robert Shugia came in. 

His long magictic ash blond hair is tied with a golden ornament and he is dressed in golds and reds, giving an aura of dominance. The eyes of gold looked at me and I felt the aura heightened but it did or should I say could not affect me in the slightest. 

I got up and we did the formal greeting. We took our seats and tea was served. 

"Hope you like mint tea." He said with a nonchalant face.

"I like mint tea, especially the ones from your esteemed empire." 

He frowned before his expression went back to normal. I placed the cup down after taking a sip, the refreshing feeling went down my throat, 'finally something other than wine.'

He waited for me and so I said my business,"You know me well Emperor and I know you well, so let's skip the long route and come to the main point. The only thing I ask of you is that, I don't want the empire to involve itself in this upcoming war between Ravial and the north." 

He raised his eyebrows seemingly surprised as if he had not already suspected that but the reaction that I was expecting did not come. He simply chuckled and said in his husky voice "Only if you reveal your biggest secret, Duke you see I simply adore you, you're something just so very special, so I am very intrigued to know what your deepest darkest secret is." 

I felt a burning gaze from my back, as Jas maybe was staring viciously at him. I just laughed knowing that he was just joking. But when I stopped and looked at him his face showed a confused look.

Ahem! After a series of fake coughs, I said "Let's not go there and leave my secret alone....umm anything else?"

His face returned to normal and then he said "Nothing but I would like to show you something that may pique your interest." I nodded and he looked at the butler and the butler went out. As we sipped our tea some strange smell came in, the door opened and a weird monster was brought in.

"This is a new type of monster that has appeared near the forest areas. As you know Shugia is a place filled with holy magic and source of divine power so it's pretty rare for these creatures to appear. But this one is special because it cause and needs more holy magic to surpass it then normal."

I examined the monster from a far and noticed some dark aura, my expression darkened as puzzlement came over me.

'It...it should not be here.....why?'

"Oh lady Abigail please release me, I know you love doing this but I have a job to fulfill." I sang to the beautiful periwinkle girl dressed in a nun's outfit with a syringe in her hands. 

"Oh shut up you insolent creature you have no right to speak here." She responded. 

She sighed and said "I want to tell you sorry."

Surprised, I responded "Oh really it's fine-."

"But I can't." 

"..why?"

"Because I am not." as she said she inserted a strange liquid into my arms. It burned inside but it was a tourable pain.

I just took deep breaths and said " this was a little more painful than before, it gives a burning sensation and feels like being burned alive from inside. Maybe try something more acidic and also you can mask it so it will be a strong and lethal poison"

"Hmmm ok that will do." She turned and did something on the table.

But I really had to go so I used my magic and freed myself. I stood and walked towards the window but a scythe came to my neck.

"You can't leave, I am not done yet."

"Sorry darling but I simply can't stay, I promise to come back as soon as possible and I will even bring you your favorite flowers, what say?" 

"No." 

"Sorry." I said and I made my escape by turning into a bat and using illusion and teleporting away before she could use holy magic on me. 

'oh she is so in love with me that she refused to let me go. But what can I do work is work. I will have to compensate her properly next time. Maybe the recent jewel I saw at the auction last time will suit her well. Oh I can't wait my dear Abigail.'
